Only Hynes feels safe as a Captain this week, even though he is capable of a lowish score. Can only trade DCE or Cleary to do it though. Tough decision. DCE is a gun keeper with two 90s this year, and it feels wrong to sell Cleary, even with a niggle, loss of goal kicking and a rumour floating around that he mightn't play.

DCE to Hynes is currently where I'm at.

id hold. DCE looks a guy you want to bring in, not trade out.

Even with that Cleary news, you captain Hynes if you have him?

    Just to be safe?

If I had Hynes I'd captain him this week.

Worth noting that if you have Robson (the premium 13/16 hooker), you can't also play Granville in R13. Maybe you can in R16 if he gets DPP (no guarantee based on the first lot of DPPs given)

So you get a couple good scores, then some potential 20s when Taumalolo gets back. Then maybe a good usable score in R16 (depending on origin make up and what sort of role Granville gets)
Might not even make much money by the time you sell depending on what he does in a full strength team

He's basically a cashout with potential upside. But really if you wanted him you had to move 1-2 weeks ago.

The only thing I would add, is that even if you play Robson in rd13, Granville likely makes cash at least that week if you can fit him in your 14-21.

Have spoken with Penrith and they say Nathan Cleary is in no doubt for Saturday and will play, and nor will there be mass restings.

Also, Tyrone Peachey on why he can rediscover his 2018 best now he is starting again for Penrith. On @AAPSport #NRL

Thanks, I haven't heard of Scott Bailey, do you think this is legit?

Hynes averaging 10 points more as it is and will be goal kicking, while Cleary likely isn't.

Have you considered getting Ponga in? He might play 4 out of the next 8 games!

I bought Manu last week, but with Tupou injured I'm a bit worried that one more injury to the backs and Manu will *have* to go back to centre. It's not like he's fantasy mud there either, but it's not the same as 5/8th.

Roosters have gone from Tupou/Latrell/Manu/BMoz to Allen/Suaalii/Momirovski/Paulo in the space of a couple of years, smh. So much for the magic cap.

Even without injuries - how many weeks will Sam Walker be given in NSW cup?

Do Roosters still see him as long term option? or will they move him on at the end of the year

I grabbed Granville last week on the basis that even a 30ish average will see him make $125k. He made $45k of that already so I do think he's a bit of a harder trade in this week at $312k.

Payten clearly trusts him at the moment but fully expect that to have a shelf life. Just need him to keep getting 50mins for a few weeks.

He becomes their dominant half when Keary retires.

Cheers. Sound advice. It's just that Hynes is up another Tier.

Tier 1 - Gun Captaincy Options

    Hynes
    Cleary

Tier 2 - Other fellas if Tier 1ers aren't in your team
