I seem to remember Williams has disappointed in the past, maybe as a cheapie that didn’t live up to the hype.

Could be a good stop gap none the less if he goes well

Edwards probably the best punt if he starts again for Ming. Sutton probably comes back though.

When Gallen retired he was touted as his heir apparent the next year. A lot of us started with him and he was one of the biggest disappointments considering the hype. I remember he was my first picked. Such a flop.

I remember that flop well. I held on to him too long.

Keeping both Hosking and Preston, at least until Rd 13.

Punting Walsh to the kerb - I'm convinced it's the right move.

    - Likely not playing Round 13, due to Origin selection.
    - BE of 66 - Could well meet it but could also continue to drop cash.
    - Can't hold Walsh through Origin due to already holding a number of other Keepers.
    - His lack of base stats concerns me. Has the upside to grab a tonne but you could also make an argument to say the same for Bula.
    - Surplus to requirements with a WFB/CTR rotation of Bird, Lemuelu, Manu, Miller, Teddy and Bula.
    - Can prioritise a higher scoring EDG/MID replacement for the bye rounds.

Thanks @camo123 for the origin clarity.

For players in camp, that don't make the 17 on game day, is there a chance they make it to play in rounds 13/16/19?

For those of you following along at home, do be aware that this is a bad thing. Ricky remains his coach.

Also the worry for me is that the way he is going, he will make the QLD origin side.

If his on field output warrants selection, you won't be disappointed buying him regardless.

Well, of course you will. You lose 50/60 points in R13 and another 20/30 (and longer term cash gen) in R14 when he plays less minutes. Defeats a major part of the object of buying him (and I did buy him last week).

yeah, that's the cash out I need, although its a problem when dolphins have the bye (would be down to one ctr with Lemu also out, plus own the two halves.).

Hmm...I really need to start looking ahead at these byes. I have done zero forward planning so gonna get bitten on the ass for sure.

Alamoti might have to stay put.

Ah was he injured? I thought he got hooked on the weekend.

Niu ~could return to wing for Jennings..

Fair bit of risk there, may not be worth it this week and just grab post bye if he holds spot.
