Yeah that's true, I just think on top of all the other stuff. As he said he was "frustrated". Which I can wear. We didn't deserve to win last week, and arguably this week either. But we can lose without the shit calls thanks
I've stopped watching before end the last two. I'm sick of it. It's so obvious

Right now my plan is 3 more trades, taking me down to 15 (lol), but all three guys I'm selling are guys that need to go anyway.
Walsh to JDB
Sloan to Oloapu
Luke to Billy Smith
This leaves me with $32k bank and only one more trade planned between now and R13, as I've already sold Murray and am probably holding Cook over Origin (too cheap to sell for anyone worth replacing him with) - that planned trade is Russell to Te Whare next week if Valynce keeps his spot. This gives me 9 players for R13 with my likely captain being SJ or JDB

Fifita, Hosking
Cleary, Hynes
Bird, Manu
Teddy, Miller, Bula

Thing is though is it just a bad patch or has something major changed.
The week before he put up a 45 but that's with a Sin Bin so make it 52 regular points.
This week was bad but he only had 53 minutes so hopefully that gave him a little rest.
basically he was a 63 average player up untill a few rounds ago. Now he is 55 average for the season.
At 750k
if he is a 55 average guy from here on out he is a hold.
if he is a 63 average guy he is a strong buy very shortly
if he is a 45 average guy he is a sell.
55 average+ to me seems the most likely.
I think 60 or so minutes will be the norm with Arrow firing and now Knight back in the team.
I think it all depends what you are doing with him over Origin. If you are trading, last week was the week to trade him. I'm hoping I can flick him this week. If I can't, he will become a fallen gun in round 13.

How come Walsh is a trade ?

His upcoming matchups are really bad and he doesn't have much base in him - he's got Storm (even though we suck we've held fullbacks to low scores) and Panthers in his next 2, then if he misses Origin he's got a full strength Warriors team while his own team is weakened.
I also have so many WFBs around that I don't need him for depth there.
That said, given that Ford is probably out, I'm considering giving Walsh one more week and selling Ford to Horse instead of Walsh to JDB (can't afford Ford to JDB) since I only have 17 green dots if I go with my original plan

I think he most likely misses out game 1, and then comes in for game 2 and 3 if Ponga gets concussed again or QLD get thumped.
That said, I don't really care if he does or not, if he does play game 1 I just sell him in R13, and if not, then I hold him to R16 and sell then.

I’m eyeing him off too as a Moses replacement, cheap and up against Dragons and Tigers next. Could rack up the points
What if I told you Drinkwaters 2nd and T-3rd worst scores last season were against the Tigers?
His worst was against the Panthers... but so was his 2nd best.

Are you trying to say that matchups mean diddly squat?robelgordo wrote:

I’m gonna play Alamoti this week because he’s up against the Warriors and the refs should do enough to help him sneak through for a try. Apparently that’s what happens

Surely you aren't trading out two "must have" players for the next big thing?

He's playing pretty well but I think they give Ponga first crack (provided he gets through the next couple o' weeks) and with Walsh I think he's fullback or nothing (except maybe 18th man)

Annoying thing is he will probably be in the squad and that might keep him out of round 13 (even if not picked in the actual team).
Happened last year with .. i think Flegler ?.. although I assume the broncos head honchos would have been annoyed about it, and hopefully wont happen again

I don't think Walsh will be 18th man, they'd probably put a forward there since odds are they'll have Capewell in the team to cover edge and outside back injuries
