Yep, holding Ford. I don't have enough round 13 players to throw two out this close to time (the other one being Sloan, who probably is being let go).

At this stage I'm thinking about it...haven't got the $ to upgrade him to anyone I want and have 17 pretty playable options.

Feel like a trade this week is pushing it to some other shitto that I don't need or want like Tatola or Luki (I'll have another look at them this week). If it looks like Te Whare is going to get a little run in the team from next week then I will cash in the Couch and upgrade Ford.

I'm not feeling like I want to push something that isn't there.

I'm half tempted by TPJ Very Happy

I'm in this position with round 13 players, but if I hold I'm playing Alamoti and APK.  I'd rather only have to play one.

Saying that if I get Drinkwater he could easily score less.

Seriously considering it, Bula/Granville loop will be my 17th score but that may not be so bad the way Bula has started anyway? That DPP of his is pretty important to my team balancing over the origin period and I’m loathe to trade it away, though keeping a 500k player that misses 3 of the next 6 rounds doesn’t feel like a good play

Only got 11k ITB so need 2 trades and a good cheapie

If Oloapu starts in final teams I’ll probably go ahead with planned upgrade and downgrade to Brown and Oloapu but not sure if remaining on bench

Still have 17 with Host and Bula

I thought so too, but it didn't seem to have much of an impact last year.

    In 2022, with Carrigan:

    avg. 42.8 in 45.3 mins

    Without Carrigan:

    avg. 32.4 in 41.6 mins

    with Haas:

    avg 38.4 in 44.2 mins

    without Haas:

    avg 42 in 41 minutes

The only game I can find where neither Haas nor Carrigan played was R18, and he only scored 34 in 42 mins.

So far this year, when Haas missed round 9 he scored 38 in 50 mins.

Bullemor has been a reasonably consistent scorer this season

What do you think would be the minimum number of players needed for round 13?

    I'm at 9 players currently.

I’ve been thinking there’s argument for Kobe get an uptick of minutes and productivity for a very cheap price over the origin period, but the Broncos only play one Origin bye, so you’d want Carrigan to be heavily managed to get your worth outside of Round 13

If you have the main guns you should be fine

WFB and EDG probably where most are lighter and the difference between 10-11 and 12-13 players

I'm leaning this way just due to the lack of viable options as a replacement for Rd 13.

If I go down the two trades path I'm also wondering about Oloapu if he stays on the bench. Would've thought he'd be starting by now but maybe they're happy to continue the Reynolds arrangement for awhile. Whether getting VTW is better when he doesn't even play this week would be the question.

Yeah, think I'm holding. I can field 17, worst player probably Granville which isn't too bad, so I think I'll do that.

Is E.Katoa gonna pull his finger out? Or is he a trade?

No attacking stats in his last two games. Two tough games coming up. Doesn't play the bye.
I think he's got to go.

He might come right eventually but he'll cost you points/cash lost in the meantime.
