Hopefully hasn't played himself into a SOO spot

Was just looking at him and cursing that I didn't pick him up when he was 620k a few weeks ago.

What are people thinking of doing with Tanah Boyd?

Made 218k now so well and truly done his job, and doesn't play R13 or 16. BE up to 46 so probably almost topped out, although he had been scoring like a keeper the past few weeks. Probably give him one more week then sell in R13?

That's my plan. Will aim for someone ok in WFB.

Shame, because his DPP is really handy, but he isn't a keeper long term.

He is the in form HOK of the comp, currently planning to hold him as a season keeper.

As good as he's been recently, he's still only averaging 48.2 (or a slight bump to 48.9 if you take out his two sub 80 minute games). Reckon he's good enough to be a keeper?

Is it worth trying to save 200k buying Billy Smith for centre cover instead of Lemuelu? (trading Hosking).

Paying 640k for Lem doesn't seem like a good idea, but he probably is a keeper at CTR, while Billy has been killing it but we know what his history is.

I think hes good enough to keep avging 48 which doesnt make him a keeper hok lol.

Not really rushing to trade though yet but we'll see what rnd 13 throws up.

Foran will get hurt again soon and Sexton will fuck boyds scorea for a bit

im thinking of doing it for the cash generation alone and I dont even need a centre.

    A 35 average makes him 80k

Yeah, if anything I think he's slightly overpriced now (priced around 51), so he's definitely done his job.

Roosters medical report on website are calling Manu moderate ligament damage. Like to see if nrl physio calls that grade 2 and putting him in a 3-6wk recovery period.

    Nrl.com

The Roosters will be without Joey Manu for an extended period after scans confirmed he suffered moderate ankle ligament damage against the Panthers.

Manu will begin rehabilitation on the setback this week while Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (pectoral strain) has avoided a serious injury and could line up in Round 12.

Not the worst outcome, can turn Manu in Fifi.

actually this could turn out alright.

For a H2H player how does this look.

    Reynolds to Yeo
    Hosking to Ipap
    Manu to Garrick

the strategy is I bring in Yeo who is 100% a top 3 mid and then Ipap hopefully around the mark as top 2 edge (I have Fifi)

You damage your ligaments pretty much every time you roll your ankle it's the extent of the damage which is the deciding factor in any lay off.

Also looking like the Shire have piped down about Shane Flanagan being the mastermind behind Manly's early form...guess loss = Siebold & win = Flanagan
    Well said on both counts.

If Manu's a sell, who do you replace him with that's likely to stay keeper level?

I'm not entirely convinced Lemuelu doesn't regress to low 40s like he was getting before the last 3 weeks, and guys like Timoko and Penisini don't seem like they're consistent enough to be genuine top centres.

the word "extended" in that Manu update makes him sound like a trade

Cheapie like Billy Smith (assuming VTW a no-go), or just bring in Null Null who I've been without
Billy is priced over 30 now - is there enough value there to make him worth it?
