Billy is priced over 30 now - is there enough value there to make him worth it?

I'm considering Staggs for 30k cheaper than Billy (400k flat). Might seem like a bad idea (and it might be), but I figure at 400k it's worth getting him in case he goes on a big run like he has in the past, and worst case just hold onto him as an EMG.

I'm not entirely convinced Lemuelu doesn't regress to low 40s like he was getting before the last 3 weeks, and guys like Timoko and Penisini don't seem like they're consistent enough to be genuine top centres.

Dont think there is a sideways option so more cash out options like Garrick Drinky B.Smith

I traded Lemu to Bird last week and bringing Lemu back for Manu this week. Two edges at CTR is set and forget like Bateman and Nikora. I remember you traded Nikora out that season though, so maybe someone like Ramien at 478k.

Oh yeah I did trade Nikora that year, though it was to Latrell who went on a run at centre in the run home that year so it was worth it.

I think you go Null or someone who’s down on their historic scoring like Lomax if named and hope they come good. He seemed to be kicking ok again on the weekend so picks up a few points just if he keeps that up, obviously needs to be playing first grade…

Pretty sure Nikora outscored Latrell by a few points for cheaper, so was a wasted trade Very Happy But moving on..

Already have Burbo in emergencies. If he gets a starting edge spot in TLT, he can partner Bird there.

Agreed. Have held Bird and NULL for weeks and my stools have been firmer, more regular and less odorous.

I can't say the link is causal, but can't say it isn't either. Get both.

As good as he's been recently, he's still only averaging 48.2 (or a slight bump to 48.9 if you take out his two sub 80 minute games). Reckon he's good enough to be a keeper?

Averaging over 60 the last 4 games. All the other HOKs get 40 point games too.

I think I might just hold Hosking this week and sell Manu/Russell to Lemuelu/H Edwards as long as Edwards is starting, then hope Hosking can score 45+ to afford a Hosking to Tohu trade the following week.

If Edwards does not start, then I would probably just hold Russell until a better cheapie comes along and go Manu/Hosking to Lemuelu/Tapine.

TLDR: if I'm trading Manu, don't see anyone other than Lem that's worth it.

It saves trades if u get them right, but taking 'flyers' on potential future benchies or ressies that come into a team later or at some point in the season down the line will sit and not generate money and add to a lower team value, if brought in to early. Not meaning to be a prick, I could be completely wrong with Ur squad balance and timing of such picks. Tell me to jog on if so.

No, I don't mind. Neither Burbo & Harrison have been in my team for more than 2 wks. I don't have guys like Haas, Murray etc

Not a bad shout that. Staggs for a 125k discount is pretty appealing. Might have to take on more attacking responsibility over Origin? Can probably wait a week given they've got Penrith though.

The issue for me selling Manu isn’t that I need a centre right now I have Bird and Lemu they have no bye til round 16 my issue is there aren’t great options at WFB which is where I was using Manu.
