Think I'll avoid Ponga and CNK this week and just reassess next week. I suspect down the line I will lament using a trade on either one for the sake of an extra number.

I will likely regret it when a healthy Ponga scores 98 but oh well.

I’d go bird, he’s the best centre for back end of the year

Manly won’t be good without dce and turbo and jurbo imo

Would you guys sacrifice a WFB this week (Ponga or Drinky) to run 11 but getting Tohu and Hopgood into the team? Would essentially be

    Cook
    JDB, Tapine, Harris
    Ford, Curran
    SJ, Cleary
    Bird, Lemu
    Drinky, Ponga

    Niko/Crossland loop

    or

    Cook
    JDB, Tapine, Harris
    Ford, Hopgood
    SJ, Cleary
    Bird, Lemu
    Drinky or Ponga

    Niko/Crossland loop

    Battle of the shitters
    TU: Play Host
    TD: Play couchman

Atleast I know with couchman I can lock in a 25. Who knows with host especially with koloa loitering around that team list

Edit: No bye edge, has been a problem position for me all year since the carty/hopgood left my team. Missing hosking/Preston appear to be my most crucial errors of the year

Yes, ponga is a question mark, Hopgood is going to be very useful for all byes and Harris is the premium mid (tied with jdb)

I’d do that, Hopgood could put score Curran and ponga combined especially as Curran is on bench (unless things have changed since I last checked)

All this talking up of bird today and I'm seriously worried he's gonna pull up injured in warmups like last week or a first 10 min HIA. Jinx feels strong with this one

Is there any chance BA goes bananas and puts Hopgood on an edge last minute? Im worried Ofa gives him an alternative at lock and he might think Carty/Doorey too light on the edges. It seems a little nutso, admittedly- but so is BA!

Campbell has has fluid drained from his sternum this week they say he’s 50/50 but I don’t think he plays.

“Graham needed fluid drained from his sternum this week.

The Rabbitohs are quietly confident that Keaon Koloamatangi will make his return from an ankle injury to play the Raiders. “

Looks like I’m running with 12 starters and 1 playing from the bench. Gives me the following side:

    JMK
    Horse, JDB, Tohu
    Hopgood, Ford
    SJ, Katoa
    Bird, Lemmy
    Drinkwater, Ponga, Bula

    Cleary, Hynes, Fifita, Hosking,
    Manu, Oloapu, Billy Smith, Sele

Sele is locked in for a trade next week to Turpin (if named).

All the best everyone. See you on the other side.

I think the average players is going less than expected - a lot more people focus on H2H than here I think

If par is normally say 950, I think low 500s will be average

Haven't they got 3 mids on the bench? Can Doorey play 80? Defo a chance he spends some time on the edge

Would love the Dragons tonight to show that not everything needs to go through Hunt in future. Let Sullivan and Amone have the keys, even if it could fail spectacularly

Under Hook you can bet Bird and JdB just would’ve played as de facto halves (and we lose comfortably anyway) so hoping the new coach at least tries something else. He has nothing to lose - he’s basically got no chance of getting the job next year.

Will take it as a win if we lose by less than we beat the Dolphins by last time and the young guys show something.
