    DCE JReynolds Hastings Taylor

    Green > CScott (via Gutherson)
    Leulaui > BLawrence

    Good trades? Or better ones that I could make?

    Thanks in advance Smile

    Exactly the same as mine, so can't see anything wrong apart from the fact that they are my trades lol

    If you were trading out Ah Mau, and money wasn't a huge issue who would you trade to Jtrbo or Blaw ? I guess both could be keepers and both could make similar $$

    Jake Trbojevic 45-50 average ?
    Brenton Lawrence 35-40 average ?

    Brenton has more upshot/risk and would make more offloads/tackle break but Jake would be more reliable due to his large base stats?

    Thanks mate thats a lot of help, appreciate that. Tending towards the Green > Scott and CG > BLaw trades. That gives me a chance to wait at least a week on the other guys you mention.

    I know Wighton hasn't done well so far, and Ferguson, but are they considered (in general) not to be very good choices? Is it that mid-range guys are not preferable in the WFB slot? If I were to change them at some stage would you recommend upgrading to a keeper or trying to find a cash-cow?

    They aren't too good (Ferguson and Wighton), but there is a chance that they post up a big score. Ideally you want to bring in guns like Tedesco (Really the only gun) so I would hold off on making trades unless a solid cashcow comes through, or wait until you get funds for Tedesco of Roger Tuivasa-Scheck drops in price. So well the mid-range guys aren't the best you might as well hold them at the moment.

    Money not an issue, I would lean towards Trbojevic because of the security and scoring ability.

    Hmm, Brett Stewart aiming to play on Monday. Not good news for TTrbo owners.

    Really tempted to trade DCE for Walker, it will allow me to upgrade Cartwright to either Taupau or Graham via Leuluai. And next week upgrade Gordon, if he performs badly again, to Teddy.

    Will probably end up trading DCE back in at some point but the price difference between Walker and DCE will be significantly less by then and the team will be in a lot better shape after these trades.

    blaw is still on the bench and has had one good week. Even when he started he wasn't what i would consider a gun.

    If he only makes 35 points a game from here i dont think he is even worth the trade in.

    Jtrbo all the way

    I think Munster can wait, worst case scenario he makes 10k and that's not too bad, and Manns price not going anywhere. Which leaves Evans to JTurbo which is fair play and you get rid of Green which has to be good

    Thanks for the input mate! Much appreciated.

    I raised this last week or so, and one of the old timers backed me up, GreenMachine maybe?

    2-3 years ago, BLaw was one of the best in the game. His PPM was nearly 1 (IIRC?) and would get you 45 minimum week in, week out. [/quote

    Yep B Lawrence still haunts me mate as I as a long time heckler of Slats who was new kid on the block for couple years talking shit.

    He got B Lawrence right. Guy is a solid mid 4 average man when fit

    Toying with bringing C. Walker in for Benry. He's already made $69k, and the Rabbits' draw gets harder from here. Should really conserve trades. Tempting though.

    I'm looking at a few trade options:

    1)
    LAM -> Gavet
    Gordon -> Tedesco (Gordon underwhelming, anybody backing him to return to Fantasy form, because I'm not convinces)

    2)
    LAM -> BLaw
    Merrin -> Graham (Via Surgess; feels a bit sideways, Graham probably won't keep up 60's, but will Merrin come good?)

    3)
    Green -> Somebody
    LAM -> Gavet/BLaw

    I don't have any faith in LAM to get minutes in that forward pack, but Merrin and Gordon I could be convinced to have faith in with good reason. Green obviously has to go sooner or later. What are people's opinions?

    ** Or go for cash over points early and go Merrin & LAM to Gavet & BLaw via Surgess, and play a gun down until I can bring Teddy or Taupau in next week? This is also tempting, but costly in trades down the track

    I remember specifically brining Blaw in after his first 3 week of popping out 45 and 50's

    I distinctly recall those scores coming off tackle breaks and offloads galore and maybe even a try.

    After those 3 big weeks he was a steady 35 scorer for the rest of the season. I don't think he is that big a of a deal and there are plenty of better options that i can see.

    No way known id want to keep him for the year.
