Rd 2 and already Woods is a semi-gun and Taupau a real gun?

This. I've had Kapow since the start and he was a dud in week 1. The only people talking about him were the ones regretting him and trying to offload him. Then he has two good runs and becomes a season keeper. Before those 2 runs he couldn't hang on to the ball or the opposition players. Hardly a must have atm. That said though, I am hoping the new role is a positive for him and he can keep up some of the good work, I am not expecting him to repeat those scores week in / week out though.

Teddy on the other hand was sublime. Some of the best FB play I have ever seen. Fantasy wise and footy wise.

He scored 54 in round 1?! My concern as an original owner was he was too unfit to play big minutes in the middle but out wide he has a bit more in the tank hence his 2-3 big plays in round R2

Gotta keep high expectations for all my players. Still waiting for Gordon to average 35, Parker 55-60, DCE 55, Carty 45, but the way things are going, I only see one or two of those happening.

    Smith (Nikorima)
    Bromwich Woods (Packer, Evans)
Merrin, Parker, Surgess (Bhana, JSaifiti, Leuluai)
    DCE, Hastings (Taylor, Walker)
    JRoberts, Copley (Green, Littlejohn)
    Teddy, Barba, Gutherson (Feeney, Mitchell)

I'm thinking DCE and Feeney out at this point. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Line up:
    Smith, Garvey
    McGuire, Grant, Evans, Packer
Surgess, Taupau, Cartwright, Carter, JSaifiti, BHenry
    DCE, Hastings, Taylor, JNiko
    Fergusson, Copley, Gutherson, Green
    Mann, Barba, Mitchell, Eden, Feeny

Evans > JTrbo (Evans has peaked I think, barring a few grand, JTrbo has low BE this week, could be down 13k if I do this trade next week)

Scott > Green (Green could lose $15k this week, and Scott making $15k means could be $30k lost if I make the trade next week). Green would possibly be in my 17 ahead of Gutherson, but for calculations I figure they score the same.

Mann > Munster (Munster prob won't make any money this week with BE of 43, small amount possibly, but Mann won't lose any as not playing. Thinking of playing Eden in my 17 for 1 week (then doing this trade next week), I think he could go ok against Penrith as he is playing on Oates side which sees alot of ball, so may get 20 points vs Munster 43ish).

    Which two trades to make?

Evans > Jtrbo (+15 points (difference between Evans and JTrbo scores this week) +$13k)
    Scott > Green (+$30k)
    = +15 Points +$43K

    Evans > Jtrbo (+15 points +$13k)
Mann > Munster (+23 points (amount munster scores more than Eden. +$0K) (Factor in loss of green to Scott -$30k next week)
    = +38 points -$17k

Mann > Munster (+23 points +$0K) (Factor in loss of Evans to JTrbo -$13k next week)
    Scott > Green (+$30k)
    = +23 points +$17K

Mann isnt playing so you will need a wfb unless u play eden. Green will lose cash so i would trade mann and green

Taupau was my first picked, and I had no issue with his first round - he was performing a role and was hardly a dud fantasy wise.

I should have specified better, I thought he was a dud on the paddock, not his scoring. I've tried to watch most games this season and good / bad scores aren't always relating to the same fantasy output. I thought Woods and Claw were huge last week - didn't reflect in their scores. I guess that has always been the case with Fantasy but it does make it hard to pick the best guns.

    That's the Taupau way though.
Had him from the get-go last year and rode the wave. 25 one week, 85 the next. That's the excitement of owning him.

He's not the kind of player you dump because he's had one or two bad scores in a row because he'll pump out an 80 the week you sell him.

    Woods on the other hand...

If he stays on the edge he may well turn into a gun or he could go back to the middle and get interchanged 3 times a game...

Hold DCE and get rid of failed cows imo. Bhana, Leuluai and Feeney are duds.

Trading one cash cow for another just because it will make money faster? I can see why some people would do so but luckily I am not one of them.

Is Feeney the biggest dud of all time? Bloke has played 2 games and did SFA.

I know this is fantasy irrelevant, but I placed a 5-leg NRL multi down on Sunday for games this round. Saw some crazy odds which I knew would correct as the week moved forward.

    Cowboys v Roosters
    Knights v Raiders
    Panthers v Broncos
    Warriors v Storm
    Dragons v Rabbitohs
Odds at time of bet: $17.83
    Odds now: $7.97

Crazy how much they've come in.

    Cowboys $1.23 into $1.22
    Raiders $2.13 into $1.60
    Broncos $1.55 into $1.48
    Storm $2.44 into $2.00
    Rabbitohs $1.80 into $1.38

Sportsbet are offering me cashout of $469.72 from my original bet of $300. There's no way I'm cashing out though. Riding it home!!

    Reset week on my team..

Trading out under-performing mid rangers and trading in cash cows so I can use my cash more effectively.

Got an injured Peats on the bench this week @ 494k and with these trades 313k to play with to convert to genuine cash cows and/or keepers.

Trade 1: Kurt Mann to Craig Garvey

I really needed a hooker other than JNiko and by the time Garvey is out out the team Peats will be back (thats the theory - nice price rises to be had in the mean time & I think Peats with good byes is a season keeper

Trade 2: Moeroa to Curtis Scott

I chose Moeroa on the assumption that he would go big without Watmough on the scene and a bigger role in the middle. This is not the case and I think we wont make any cash for rest of the year, hence valueless as a mid-range cash cow. There are better options out there including bringing in guns.

Now have a bit of a war chest for future trades. Need to be wiser with how I use it this time.

    Good trades or not?

I was also thinking trading Tedesco to Feeney as that frees up 400k to buy some more cows?
