Last 4 rounds Luki's scores have been:

    19, 84, 13, 60

Safe to say he's due for another score in the teens this week. Chuck him in the loop.

Is it a good idea to pick up Hynes for SJ atm (provided backs up and no injury mishaps)? Or am I better off waiting till after SOO period?

I'm considering doing the same, with the alternative being to flick SJ to Moses next week to cover R16 and 19. It's tempting though, never a bad time to get Hynes.

If he does well enough on Wednesday he’ll miss 16,17 & 19, seems waste to have $1m sitting on the bench for the better part of a month

yeah fair enough - might as well strike while the iron's hot and all that.

I think Bateman's the one more likely to have a huge game than Ipap is, he's just looked more likely in attack while Ipap hasn't really.

Best MID not named Hopgood/Matterson to own over the next period?

Is it JFH, Klemmer, HEdwards? Tough spot to fill

yeah it doesn't look great... I have Granville in the team who should get DPP this week and will make another cameo in my team in rd16

I'll have Hopgood and hopefully Hedwards. Another mid is on the shopping list, that was supposed to be Brandon's job. Am half thinking JFH, NAS, but maybe Klemmer or Ofa is worth a shout too. I don't see them as keepers necessarily, so I'd prefer someone with a low BE to make a few $ while I sideways trade them, but I can't find anyone fitting the description. Not yet anyway. origin and team lists may throw up something, so I won't invest too much time in it yet.

Oloapu looks ok, but hasn't done well in fantasy yet... I'm holding of on bringing him in for now

It would have been a one-off due to origin drastically reducing the average fantasy salary per player

so 13,500 should be OK this week (depending on how many origin players back up. less people backing up = lower MN )

Assuming Hynes plays games 2+3 he misses R16, R17, R19

    Plays R14 (backing up) R15 and R18

Probably its OK to wait. If he doesn't play game 2/3, then he's almost a must have

So it looks like SWalker has been setback a few weeks now with his injury

I wonder how Manu's injury is going and where he will/if he will line up at for the Roosters?
Makes things an interesting TLT with Birds knees (or relationship with the coach) playing up too

I have Hopgood and HEdwards, probably just getting Fainu to fill the third spot as a cash out in r15 when manly are off their bye

Otherwise JFH looks great value assuming minute up tick

Is it to own over the next few weeks, and also for the 2 months afterwards. Or is to to own for the next few weeks and then trade out again?

    Teams that play R16+R19
    Sharks, Tigers, Bulldogs, Eels
First 3 all 3 have a bye in R17 so you don't want too many from those teams. R17 also a post origin round so there may be restings
Eels also miss R18 so not necessarily a great trade in now, they were most useful if you already had them for R13. Might still be Ok though if you can find one that doesn't get injured

    Next best teams
Storm, Roosters, Panthers - they play R14-R18 without a bye. They have a bye in R19 so you either just suck it up for that week or trade them to a keeper afterwards
Cowboys are almost as good. They Miss R15 which is not a big bye round and not directly after origin, so should be easy to cover an absence that week.

    Other R16 teams are
Manly, Knights, (both on the bye this week)

For MIDs. Fisher-Harris probably the best combo of scoring potential/price/likelihood of being a keeper. You could also think about a punt on Finucane.
Or just grab a cheapie like HEdwards/Fainu ad see what happens

Doing my best to bring in a guy I don’t have to get rid of after the byes. JFH looks like the one at the moment who in theory should average around 50 if he resumes his normal role at prop. With 15 trades I could take a punt on a cow like Edwards but I’m not totally convinced he makes decent money before flicking him post origin.

If I trade Sele this week my only other MID is Carrigan who I was probably gonna flick as well. I could play him if he’s named, with a BE of 22 the only problem is really just a bad score.

    Hopefully TLT helps

Daily telegraph early mail had no mention of Bird. This is the roosters bit:
The Sydney Roosters are set to welcome back a host of stars following the bye.

Jared Warea-Hargeaves will return to bolster the middle, although Victor Radley begins his suspension and will be unavailable.

Joey Manu is expected to return from an ankle injury, the question is whether that’s in the halves for Drew Hutchinson or at centre.

Daniel Tupou is a chance to return from a hamstring injury on the wing in place of Corey Allan.

I read an article earlier today quoting Luke Keary who said Many should be good to go and have a full weeks training. He said Manu's injury wasn't as bad as they first feared

    TLT is tomorrow.

    Origin is Wednesday

Teams are likely to leave options open for whether origin players back up or not. TLT is not likely to be very helpful
