Media barrage will be out to get NSW. Realistically Latrell comes back in but not sure if other changes occur unless Jurbo is fit

Latrell back could mean Crichton or Graham to 14 so they have someone who actually covers the 3/4s

Aside from that, Martin should start. Maybe Young on bench, maybe someone else.

Think Hynes might be out unless they drop Luai (and Luai played better than Cleary).

They are so flat, so uninspired. I feel ashamed to support them.

QLD played so well, such a great origin team. Deserved the win.

NSW should bring back Klemmer if they want some mongrel

Koro was the best by far for me.

No way Hudson Young gets a recall.

Reckon the Blues are selling themselves short with the panther connection.

Wasn't really any worse than every other NSW middle. But it you pick Pangai and tell him to put away his offload then what's the point?

TBF Luai played pretty well and looked pretty dangerous. I don’t think you can justifiably drop him.

Also he, he, he, go QLD! 😀

I thought the panthers players + Koro looked the best.

Tom was useless, Young terrible, TPJ terrible, Cam Murray was wasted. Paulo wasted. Haas average. Jac average, Teddy made some tackle busts/pushes but ultimately useless.

    Team is a basket case.

Pangai and Young. Martin will start game two. Paulo didn't seem to offer much either. But there probably won't be many changes.

In fact, I'd drop teddy all together and put Latrell back there. Bring Campbell graham into center. Get rid of tom.

GarethEllisismyDad wrote:No idea how QLD keep doing it

Qld keep doing because they pick a team that works around key players (DCE, Munster, Grant, Hunt, Walsh) yes, I realise that is their spine. But, they then pick a "workmanlike" pack (ie. hard tackling, no fuss, just do your job).
NSW have more players to pick from and end up with "stars" who try to win with individual brilliance.

Well played Qld. 12 men for 10 mins and score two tries. Can't argue with that.

Teddy is spent. He set up all of no line breaks tonight. He missed a couple of key tackles and missed a pretty clear scoring opportunity (if he'd gone through the hands to his winger).
He's the captain, but tonight's loss when looking at the injuries, sin-bin etc. Qld overcame, is pretty devastating.
Cleary / Luai may be the dominate NRL half pairing, but they haven't stamped their authority on a series.
Munster (as much as I hate him) just stands up and dominates Origin each year.

If Hynes is as good as we all hope he is, then build the team around him.

TPJ was obviously selected to bring some fire (read thuggery) top the Blues pack. But I didn't see much dominating from him.
The second tackle offload error was just the icing on the cake.

Walsh outplayed Teddy completely. If you were picking the Aus team on that game, he'd have the Green & Gold No.1 jumper.

I'm pretty gutted right now. Not sure what the NSW selectors can or will do.
Actually, they should just stick strong and make this team work their way out of the hole they are in.

Reckon it needs a culture reset. Appreciate the wins Freddy got us but his time is over. Luai looked way better than I expected, but Hynes should be out there. Fuck the Panthers connection, didn't win last series either
