Any standout centers not named Manu and Lemuelu.

Somehow it has worked out that I need to bring in a CTR this week.

Any thoughts are appreciated, leaning towards talakai.

What’s the deal with Oloapu? Feel like I.katoa has peaked and Oloapu could be the next best option for a cheap half.

I think I'd go Ramien at 473k if Rd 17 wasn't an issue with the Dogs, Tigers and Sharks bye.

I was tempted by Lomax at 527k, but byes don't look as friendly as Roosters.. so I'm on Manu or Suaalii to save cash.

With 9 (plus extras) trades in hand, I don't mind my team. Finally.

Ranked nowhere due to poor calls, but still happy that the 1-15 are pretty good and steps from here can be sideways if needed.

Lots of people here with better teams and rankings, but it's still a positive vibe!

    Cook
    Haas JDB HopGood
    Preston Bateman
    Cleary Hynes
    Lemuelu Manu
    Walsh Bula Ponga

    Robson Boyd Ford HEdwards
    BillySmith Greig Fainu Oloapu

Some cashies to mature, and 158k to bump them, but generally happy. Which is nice.

Will look for Latrell, Fifita, Tapine, Hughes as the upgrades. Which might be a stretch, but hey! Still happy.

So if Hynes is dropped for a more traditional 14 in SOO #2, does anyone think Robson gets the call up? Or would Burton and Dylan Walker be ahead of him (not counting Cook as the brains trust have voiced their lack of favour in picking him).
Api did enough to get selected as a starter again.

Can't see Walker being in the mix, played 2 games in 2016.

Surely if they drop Hynes they run Cook/Api
From a fantasy point of view doesn't matter which one starts

Yeah Talakai/Ramien are interesting prospects, will have to look into the RD17 bye.

I`m looking at Suaalii, maybe it`s false hope but if the roosters start firing he might start firing.

    PONGA TO CONCENTRATE ON KNIGHTS
Few players took as much pride out of Queensland’s win in the opening State of Origin game than Kalyn Ponga. The Newcastle superstar watched the Maroons’ victory at home and savoured Queensland’s performance, in particular the debut of Reece Walsh.
Walsh seemed impervious to the pressure and he can take solace in the knowledge that the Maroons’ No.1 jersey will be his for this year’s series after Ponga reluctantly confirmed that he and Queensland coach Billy agreed it’s best to focus on his club duties for the time being.
Ponga wants to make it very clear that he isn’t turning his back on Origin or the Maroons.
He loves playing for his state and wearing the Queensland jersey.
However, for the moment he believes he needs to concentrate on Newcastle and stringing together some games for the Knights.
It is why he sent Slater a text message earlier this week – well before Queensland’s win in Origin I – wishing him luck and asking that he not be considered for the remainder of the series.
“I watched the game last night and I was really happy for Queensland and really happy for Reece,” Ponga said.
“He had a great debut. I always knew he would. Yes, it is true I have told Billy that I need to focus on Newcastle at the moment.
“I reached out to him earlier in the week to let him know and wish him luck. I love Queensland and the Maroons jersey but I need to play more games and be on the field for Newcastle at the moment.
“It was a really difficult decision to make but I will fight to win back my place in the Queensland side next year.”
Ponga has only played two games since returning from a stint on the sidelines. He was outstanding in the Knights’ win over Manly last weekend, inspiring Newcastle to victory in the second half.

Robson doesn't really have the ability to cover multiple positions that other options do.

I know it's considered a big no no but bringing in Fainu this week to allow for some better upgrades could go alright. He's secured the spot right?

Plus, I don't think it's a good look for Freddy to drop Hynes and replace him with another debutant, when Api was one of their best.
