When you remove Cleary and Hynes from your team the variation in players you can have really opens up.

Kinds of makes me wish that Hynes and Cleary weren't available for selection, or that they were nerfed in some way. Makes the game more exciting. Having said that, I guess there were always players who had consistent high scores.

I almost went Sorensen yesterday but stuck with Robson. Glad I didn't get him. Definitely a 40 point average player.

Who goes for Ponga, Katoa or APK? Gotta be APK no? Katoa could be handy again with Milf out a few weeks.

it's a close call but in terms of byes remaining after rd. 16 the titans have had their 3 byes but the dolphins have 1 left in rd. 21 & what happens with katoa after milford is back from his 3 week suspension with htf at fb will k-nik replace katoa in the halves...seems akp has better job security

Interesting thoughts, thanks mate I appreciate it.  It's true Katoa could miss out altogether once Hammer is off Origin duty. APK does look like great WFB emergency. Swapping him to Ponga though for 2K is crazy!  Didn't expect him to make as much as he has.

Didn't know the milf news, hell yeah, the Niko train rolls on.

Only need him one more week, but at least that should ensure 80 mins at 6 this week. Will have made 270k+ after a shakey start

Although Niko to Fainu could be the go.

SOS back soonish anyway I think

Luai was the most threatening last week.  massive fuckwit but can't see him getting dropped.  especially after the whole pick and stick nsw were throwing at Qld.

My big call is that Cleary is the most relieved man in NSW right now.

I think it was evident yesterday that the Penrith system got him the NSW gig, but ironically it’s such a good system it’s going to take it away. Almost any other club, star halfback goes off and the 5/8 has to take control. Instead for Penrith the reserve grade HB takes over and it’s just slightly more clunky business as usual. Maybe it’s different if Luke isn’t getting a run in NSW Cup, but if your an Origin half it shouldn’t matter. A Wighton or Walker isnt ceding to a rookie half in a crisis, for better or worse

    From Telegraph early mail

Dragons: Jack de Belin is likely to be unavailable due to a nasty head knock, which will be somewhat offset by the return of Jack Bird.

It’s unknown whether Bird is a direct replacement at lock, or if coach Ryan Carr keeps him on an edge.

    Just so I'm clear.

Yeo, Luai and Api were only chosen because of Cleary and Teddy had a shocker.

Which looping combo do you think is more worthwhile? Using the Drink:

    CNK/Koula loop at WFB
    Niko/Tatola loop at 17

Think it’s the latter but then CNK is kinda fun/terrifying to watch as it always feels like a challenge for him to survive 80 mins. And then you look and despite being in everything he’s only scored 33 anyway
