Yeah, this was my main reason too for holding out haha.

The NRL is apparently making their decision on Dylan Brown later today, so let's say that he isn't stood down.

Is he worth the buy from Billy Smith? (I am 1k short of Billy to Moses)

Has the same great bye cover as Moses, but zero risk of Origin and has been playing great recently with very high base.

I graduated at the end of last year so no Very Happy

I'm in that fun time after graduation where you send out tons of job applications and hear nothing back for months.

Ah yeah, I recall you mentioning that. Congrats cheer Hopefully land something you're happy with soon.

I ruled DBrown out once he restored his price and not much cheaper than Moses now. Moses with general kicking, goalkicking, running the team.. gotta go with him personally.

Anyone think Keaon gets picked for NSW? Was in the squad last year and imo was a walk in this year.

Also, Hynes 7 Burton 14 makes most sense. So NSW won't do that.

I'd have him over Young easily. Whether or not he gets picked is anyone's guess though.

I know I've banged on about it but from what I've seen there is very little evidence to show that Burton can manage a game and guide a team around and a lot more evidence that he plays better when in a supporting role with less responsibility.

Edit : so yeah, I hope Freddy picks him at 7 Very Happy

Completely agree, just saying I wouldn't put it past him haha

As a neutral the funniest option would be a Luai/Burton combo imo. Continuing the 'Panthers connection' by selecting a halves pairing that the Panthers actively avoided selecting. Proper 4D chess move that'd be.

Koloamatangi definitely deserves to make it, whether Freddy actually does it is another question.

As for what halves combo would suit NSW best, I actually think Moses and Burton would be good, two genuine kicking options and both are good running the ball in attack as well.

I have DBrown and I dont think he will be stood down. I’m still tossing up whether to bring in Moses or not though as it would feel strange owning both Eels halves. So in short my answer is yes he’s a good buy

If I was coach he would definitely be in the team but I also think Freddy isn’t a big fan of Souths players or else Walker should probably be in there on form

It was mentioned during the game on the 9 commentary, whether 1 match would be enough for Billy to pick him. Seemed like it wasn't out of the question.

My money is on Nanai not being in the team for game 2. Injury aside he hasn’t been good at all this season

The Parramatta Eels have been informed by the NRL that Dylan Brown has been stood down from team selection as part of the NRL’s no fault stand down policy regarding the incident this past weekend.

Dylan will not be eligible for selection until he receives clearance from the NRL.

Out of respect for the legal process now under way, the Club will not be making any further comment at this time.
