    Crossland
    Hopgood, HEdwards, ____
    Preston, Hosking
    Hynes, Oloapu
    Ramien, Manu
    Ponga, Bula, Drinkwater

I will be happy enough if those 12 take the field this week.

Is eKatoa all G for this week re HIA ?

As soon as the Mrs came back from China, my team and Fantasy rank has gone to shite. Don't underestimate the reaching powers of the CCP.

NAS to start on the edge would be tempting as an alternative to Matterson.

Probably finds a way to stink it up

He passed the HIA on the weekend, but needed stitches for the cut which is why he didn't return.

So I guess my answer for this weekend is maybe

    Can do

    Turpin
    Hopgood, Dedwards, NAS
    IPap, Preston
    Hynes, Oloapu
    Smith, Manu
    Ponga, Bula, Drinkwater

    this week

Will trade in Haas or Fifi or both to cover round 17, assuming they play. Otherwise I will just wait another round and play with 16 in 17

Turns out I now already have 5 missing for next week

    Hynes Ramien IPap HEdwards Oloapu

HEdwards will probably be a trade out next week to leave just 4 red dots

Don’t have a hooker this week now with Robson selected

Is it worth going Robson or Cook to Turpin? Simpkin is an option but then would have too many out next week

Thinking of bringing in Simonsson as my CTR of choice. Games against Manly, Dolphins and the Warriors before I can look at moving him on for the run in.

Will give me Hopgood, Simo and Matterson if fit that I’ll have out in 18 which is manageable

They've identified Hynes and had him in emerging squad, then 19th/20th man, then the bench. One month ago nearly everyone would've said he's Cleary's obvious deputy and probably should be starting ahead of Luai without much hesitation.

12 minutes horribly out of position plus a dodgy game and suddenly there's a million reasons not to pick him

    Yep. That's about right.
    Freddie's gonna Freddie.
As a die hard Blues supporter I'm now having to admit that NSW selectors don't get Origin.
Listening to media hype, allowing Gus to dictate team selections, allowing team CEOs to pressure them to select (insert name) so their team gets a fair share of media free advertising.

Even if he decided to go with Moses (who may actually be up for it), you'd have to think about putting the 6 on Hynes as Luai was pretty much a +1 for Cleary.

    It's gonna be a massacre.

    No Bula?

Turpin probably makes more sense for you from a pure points perspective

Due to my expert planning* I've managed to end up with Ipap, Preston, Loiero and Tupouinua for 2 spots.

Will almost certainly be trading Loiero to Matterson if named but that still leaves 3.

Did anyone manage to loop successfully last bye round?

I didn't jump on the Oloapu train as he scored pretty average up until yesterday, I think half his points came from that tackle breaking run in the first half

They came from tackles - he played almost half the game at LOCK while the other rookie came on at 5/8 - look like the Oloapu chew chew is just beginning

Looks like I have 11 for this week, and I don't even need to make any trades. Buying Simpkin would compromise my plans for next week so I'll be running a HOK and MID/EDG short

    Turpin
    Hopgood Edwards x
    Bateman Preston
    Cogger Hynes(c)
    Manu Talau
    Ponga Drinky Bula

Thinking of 0 trades (9 remaining) and running with this. Short a MID but there's not really anyone I want to trade out and I can't think of any must haves to trade in. Praying for a Talau 20.

Robson and Moses both selected hurts. FFS.

Will probably do Tapine to Hynes and Alamoti to Simpkin. Not sure it's worth holding Alamoti just for another 20, at least Simpkin should score well. That gives me 12 for the week.
