Which round is it and how many trades will I need to get to Round 20 ?

Fook NAS. Traded him in and he burned me hard with those ribs.

I’m on the NAS train too now. Not super sold but feels like the one MID playing this week aside from Matto who could elevate to 50+ average. Worst case it’s a 3 week run and swap to a R19 player

Depends on cash generation, right? I can play him a couple of times but I don't mind him sitting in EMG earning dosh. If he earned 200k I'd be stoked.

Im on NAS cos hes cheap. Straight swap for Niko. Only really want three good weeks out of him. Will trade out for rnd 19 if everyone else is still fit.

Id appreciate it if matt can cool it on the 'i expect NAS to avg 70' jibber

At the start of the season, when you only get 2 trades a week, bad luck can easily blow out your rank. It is very much rich get richer to start the season. If you don't have injuries, and your team is scoring well, you also get to save trades and have the luxury of picking up missed cows. When your high value players are getting injured, that isn't an option.

Without bad luck, I would have been within top 1,000 after week 2, (decent scores from Ponga and Talau in the final game of the round would have ensured that, instead of early injuries), but because I was playing catch up with injuries and couldn't trade them out fast enough, my rank blew out to 20k.

Good trading since has got me back to 1,800 rank.

It would be naive to think that there isn't an element of luck involved, and bad luck is a killer. Fortunately have mostly been on the decent side of luck over the Origin period, with the teams named, but still getting hit by injuries that are wasting even more trades.

Think I’m leaning towards just the 1 Niko to Hynes. Next week KHaas (hopefully named) and Grant

I'm only expecting a 60 average, which if he is fit, should be achievable.

Tukimihia Simpkins is not playing and has not played all year, I don't see why everyone keeps mentioning him.
