Edit - I still think Moses is the wrong call, sounds like Freddy is basing his decision off the Bulldogs game lol, Reynolds at Suncorp makes a lot more sense

Will be interesting to see why Freddy didn't pick Hynes, it's clear he simply isn't a big game player (At least right now) but want to hear what he says

Traded out Moses a month ago and also held Cleary money

Imagine if they recall hynes for game 3 ? Surely would look even sillier than they already do ? It makes no sense.

This week becomes who can get as many on the field as possible because everyone will have Hynes and have him as captain.

This is too funny (I mean that in a not ha ha funny but cooked funny way)...did someone say that half of the top 1,000 are holding Moses?
Saved the trade so I could spend it on Hynes this week but as MTVB said he'll probs get a call up for game three

Clearly the smart move was start with Cleary and Moses, trading out cleary twice, and avoiding SJ the whole time for no particular reason.

Looks like 200 of the top 1000 already had Moses, then another 500 traded him in this week.
Obviously the top 1000 at end of the round will be slightly different to start of the round

Initial thoughts leave me reasonably cooked for round 17.
Cleary to Hynes & Burbo to Simpkin leaves me with 6 Dogs/Tigers/Sharks players (bateman/bula/simpkin/hynes/preston/oloapu)..... oops

There's a lot of silly reasons for picking one half-back over another. But picking Reynolds because the game is at Suncorp is probably the silliest.
does that mean he'd get dumped for Burton if they win?
Also, is Moses any more of a "big game" player than Hynes is. What's his history there

Yeah, I think Cleary to Hynes leave me with 5 of those munters (Hynes, Ipap, Ramien, Bula, Preston). Looks like old noodle boy will probably have to be the sacrificial lamb next week.
Now what do I do with Cook? Let's see if Matterson gets named this week.
Edit : if not, I hold him for a week and then go back to Boyd.....pretty funny

It's clear he isn't a big game player is lol. He's had two finals where his team wasn't expected to be anywhere near the top 4, in a season he was DALLY M PLAYER OF THE YEAR
I mean you want Reynolds, who last won a big game in 2014, when he wasn't remotely the most important player. He's a very good game manager, but hardly the guy to take a game by the scruff of the neck on the big stage.

"Big game player" feels about as relevant as "built for Origin", "having some mongrel"
They've identified Hynes and had him in emerging squad, then 19th/20th man, then the bench. One month ago nearly everyone would've said he's Cleary's obvious deputy and probably should be starting ahead of Luai without much hesitation.
12 minutes horribly out of position plus a dodgy game and suddenly there's a million reasons not to pick him

I got Hynes for Fifita before the 15
Then Cleary to Ponga for his 71 this week to wait and see on Moses.

Well at least I got 2 70s from Moses and no low score
Initial thoughts is Moses, Tatola, Loiero, Nikorima to Hynes, Matterson, Turpin and a MID
Still a fucking truckload of money ITB
