    Any suggestions?

Assuming you're staying in the CBD:

Ferry to either North Shore, hang out in Devonport and walk up North Head, or ferry to Rangitoto island if you're feeling a bit more adventurous.
    Dinner up the sky tower.
Walking around Viaduct harbour/Wynyard quarter on a nice day.

If you're staying elsewhere/have a car and willing to drive a bit, lots of other suggestions.

Looking for a bit of guidance here please.

I'm trading in Simpkin this week as I feel he will have longer JS and make more cash than Turpin.

By doing so though, I'll only have the bare 17 for Rd17 due to Simpkin on the bye. Would I be wiser to take Turpin and have the spare body for next round and let go of a little cash gen? Whoever I go will eventually be sold, so not looking for long term cover.

Simpkins the better buy but I feel Turpin is the smarter buy.

Rd19 I have Boyd for HOK so that isn't a factor.

I have a feeling that Turpin could stick around for a while, getting decent minutes when Smith returns. They can still have Smith on the field as an impact middle forward and take some minutes at HOK, but let the tackle bot do his thing, which has never really been the strength of Smith. It may not happen, but I think it is a definite possibility, worth holding Turpin to find out, until he maxes out in price.

Bigger dick? Got back from a 35 day holiday around Europe exactly a month ago. Once in a lifetime thing I think because I'm not doing 20 hour long haul flights again

I would go Turpin as the smarter buy, will probably give you better points in the minor byes when struggling for numbers

Thanks Matt & Chewie. Agree with you both and think I just needed to hear it from someone else. The 220k and potential cash grab of Simpkin was luring me away from Logic...

Felt like the same gut feeling I had went locking in Niko -> Moses last week... listening to logic this time

    Bahaha  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

I laugh at your travel plans... I am working from home today.

I got up and walked 5 metres to my desk - another 5 metres to my kitchen to make a coffee and then back to my desk.

You guys are really putting in too much unnecessary effort

I've been considering gambling on Hands becoming an 80 min hooker with JH not returning. The time might be right for it.

Unfortunately he seems like more of a 35 pt player but that's ok at his price, if he holds the spot.

If the Eels manage to get up against the Dolphins Sea Eagles then there's a strong case to keep things as is. And they'll have a lot of forwards back soon, BA loves a big man bench.

EDIT lol cant read a draw

He’s fairly low risk and doesn’t have the R17 issue that Simpkin has

Hope they get past the Sea Eagles in a big way this weekend first

I would also be quite scared trading in 3 Eels players this week, the money would be nice though

Straight(ish) swap for Burbo with none of the R17 or 'when's Api coming back?' noise accompanying Simpkin?....I'm considering it as well
