    i have no predictions though, i've no idea what will happen. both teams are looking pretty strong. i hope it's a close series all the way with Australia taking the win.

    its cool to see anderson and broad lining up for the first test.

    I’ve not added to the culinary chat, so for me it’s GYG, my wife is an Oportos gal, if we’re traveling we’ll avoid any place that doesn’t have a crowd during peak eating hours. Of course, we both like the KFC.

    Ashes predictions?

    I'll go 3-2 England
    Cummins most wickets - Root player of the series.

    Edit: I'm obsessed with cricket (and always have been) but I only realised it's "Hazlewood" not "Hazelwood" about a year ago. Thought of this when I read "Simpkin" when trading him in today. Fucking kills me when I read people tipping the "Storms" to win lol.

    The Haze is from my neck of the woods, but never had to play against him thankfully. Would've been 1 ball and 16 year old me walking off to a celebrating 11 year old Haze. Shouldn't let U12s play with U16s anyway.

    Most egregious misspelling of a name would be Raiders fans calling Croker Crocker, especially when he was fantasy relevant and in their team. He's their goalkicker and captain too ffs, how does it not register with the pronunciation and being written everywhere?

    Also, Aus 5-0 Very Happy Well maybe 4-0, always gonna be a washout to save them in one.

    There won’t be enough money on the field for a meaningful price rise or fall this week

    I think most teams by now would be around that $14m mark so any more would be marginal really

    Might change tact and skip NAS and use the 4 trades.  Now looking at;

    Cook - Turpin
    IKat - Hynes
    Ford - Smith
    Tapine - Matto

    Leaves 7 trades and 120K and this team;

    Turpin
    Matto Smith Hopgood
    Preston Bateman
    Hynes Olo
    Manu Alamoti
    Drinkwater Ponga Bula

    Fifita Robson SJ Horse JDB Ted Lemmy Boyd

    Although, I could instead of Tapine out, I could go Fifita out and get NAS instead of Smith along with Matto still.  Not sure yet on holding Tapine or Fifita.

    Essentially it will be Fifita and Smith, or Tapine and NAS.  The latter option leaves 148K.

    Matterson was my trade in all week until TLT. I think he will score quite well with more touches on the ball. Maybe Manu like, except better scoring 😜

    Correct.

    Magic number likely to be quite low this week, so price rises likely to be a little less than usual
    (I'd suggest plugging 12500 into mtb's price predictor for estimates)

    Hosking and Drinkwater for me tonight
    I kept Hosking over Preston, hasn't been the best decision so far, but Hosking still has a chance to make up for it the next couple rounds with Martin on Origin duty
