Got it stuck in the slab he was pouring a couple of weeks ago and did something to his ankle/calf/knee/groin twisting it around in the gumboot to get it out

Wary of any guy who's named to start after only having small minutes all season. KHaas and Fainu pretty good recent examples.

What happened to Host in his most recent outing, and why won't he be starting again in a weeks time?

I don't have a lot of options though and probably need to gamble on Jed

    Origin might change everything anyway.

How many have you played ? It's called being an impact player !

i don't really care what happens with Turpin, but I like how you just decide this is what's happening, for.. reasons (ie you own him) lol!

While Matt loves to create his own narrative and I kinda agreed, I don't quite expect it to happen but I wouldn't be surprised for his first game back anyway.  I will say I don't believe he offers anything besides tackling a lot.

Once Smith is fit, he's their big minute hooker, without question.

That sounds like a fell out of bed sleeping on a Futon injury if ever I've heard one.

Not to mention they also have Connor Watson due back in round 20 as well, so potentially Turpin could drop out entirely and they run Cheese and Watto as their hooking combo.

I'm like 99% sure that was their plan when they signed Cheese, they would have known he's no good when he has to make a ton of tackles at hooker every week, but Watson's long term injury ruined it.

Forgot he existed. Yeah, Turpin is out 100% once both those guys are back.

Has missed 6 tackles all season, and provides good service from dummy half. They can still get Cheese on the field off the bench to play the more dynamic role, when teams are tiring, like Starling at the Raiders, still can play 50-60 minutes including time at lock.

Turpin is one of the bottom 3 hookers in the comp for service.

Turpin has done well defensively but cramps his halves and has made 8 metres in 2 weeks. BSmith is the number 1 hooker by a fair distance

One thing to consider wit the Roosters is that they've been por this year. But they've looked less poor when Brandon Smith has been fit.

I can't see him getting limited minutes so that Turpin can make a bunch of tackles. Cheese can certainly play lock, but don't think he'll get big minutes there when Radley is available

A lot has been forced by injuries, but Robinson needs to work out his best team and play it, rather than shuffling things around every week.

If Watson ever manages to get on the field he takes the small bodied lock minutes that Radley doesn't play. Will leave BSmith to be solely hooker

    EDIT: This was already covered

Quite a slide for Shaq Mitchell. Last week named as starting lock, game day bumped to bench, next week Nsw Cup.

I'm going to suffer through another week of Billy Smith and then banish him to the shadow realm in favour of Simpkin. Going to take an incredible amount of impulse control not to do it this week when he is making up numbers to hit 17

Turpin is just a poor man's Phoenix Crossland.

    It's just science.

I need two playable options this week as I only have 15 and that's with Robson.  Hands is tempting but I wish there was an update on Hodgson.

Preston to Haas is also mildly interesting but Preston looking like keeper territory the last month.
So we reckon Brimson will play round 19, don’t think he’s 18th man again?

I think Jed is a trap mate personally Rabbitohs roulette on that edge like Chee Kam could start any point.

I only need Jed to fill a gap this week then I don't really care what happens to him mate.

I'd suggest that Brimson has already played in 3 Origins (for 2 wins), he's 18th man at present and is clearly in the frame.
It's a gamble that you probably get away with, but it's a definite case of caveat emptor

Happiness is a journey not a destination, so yes, probably too much to demand (but entirely possible)
