Perfectly understand if Billy made no changes for game 3. Sends a message that the opportunity to wear the jersey needs to be earned.Might be a lesson in there for Freddy with his scatter gun approach to team selections.

Crawling back to the Broncos after they gangbanged his mates and posted it all over social media is why I don't like him. No self respect. Can't blame JAC, Walsh with the second most punchable face out there behind Munster. Fucking little cokehead Laughing

Didn't catch much of either game, went as expected with Fittler's clown strategy. Big minutes for Haas and Yeo is annoying. Might pull the trigger anyway, never a bad time to bring them in really.

Headbutting Luai, would have won Walsh a lot of support. Did he not come back onto the field at full-time cause he was afraid to face the public ?

Annoying for Robson owners that the Cowboys play second to last (but also good in terms of rest time obviously). Hopefully we get some mail about him but I don't love the situation. Can definitely see 30mins off the bench.

This isn't the reason Freddie should get hooked though

He had a bunch of options to play centre who had some experience of playing that position in the past. But he chose his dummy half, who had never played there before instead.

I don't like getting too critical of coaching decisions. They know more about the game than me, and spending all their time at training they'd know more about the players as well. but it was just a strange decision.

Have to say, this is a very unusual mindset for a rugby league fan.

Wonder about Murray's fitness and if he should have even played. He took a body shot late in the game that seemed to rattle him more than normal.

Would be pretty nervous owning any cowboy origin players atm, except maybe Val.

After watching a replay of the melee at the end, how on earth is the Fox a Grade 1 and the others Grade 2?

Fox threw a genuine punch in there, wtf.

Just watched this too, baffling. Do origin send offs have any ramifications for NRL games? in terms of future suspensions etc?

Literally any of Yeo, Murray, Young, Martin, even fucking Friz would have made more sense. He had plenty of choices. Shuffle one of them to centre, and then fill the forward spot with one of the others.

You have multiple guys who actually defend on an edge each week, and multiple guys who have at least played centre in the NRL at some point.

Obviously it's not ideal, it's pretty rare you lose a back and have a great solution. But it all makes much more sense than durr let's put Cook there.

Basically every coach in history would be like fuck, ok, need to shift one of the edges out.

And then he says in the press conference that you can't have a bench that covers everything. Actually, it's pretty easy to construct a bench that covers everything. One half who can play centre (like Burton), one lock who can fill in at hooker (like McInnis) and a couple of middle forwards, at least one of whom can play edge. There are other ways of doing it too, it's not rocket science.

Other than the injured, pretty much everyone should back up, all be it on managed minutes.
