Yeah, I reckon he plays limited minutes from the bench if he plays. Not sure what the hell I'm doing now. Robson playing 80 last night really threw a potential spanner in the works. Might trade him as I think he plays Origin 3 too.

Yeah pretty annoying. No reason he shouldn't/wouldn't be playing origin 3 unless Freddy suddenly pivots to Burton utility which would be pretty hilarious. Robson deserves another game though for sure.

Would hope he is playing far less minutes in origin 3 though and would be ok to backup good minutes in rd20.

I have Boyd for rd19 so was never counting on him there...but if he's just about as good as a red dot this week I could consider trading him instead of Preston but I only traded Robson in in rd14 and have only got one score out of him which feels pretty gross Rolling Eyes. Ultimately think I'll be holding.

I've had Robson for most of the season and am strongly considering trading him to Grant. Ultimately, it shouldn't matter when you brought him in, although psychologically it does...

It would be for Grant for me as well if I did it. But I can do Preston to Horse to get 18 players and just leave Robson out of the 17 so that seems better.

I have to sell 2 of Walsh, Nikorima, NAS, Preston or Robson. 1 this week and 1 next week

Ideally I was looking to trade in and captain Yeo this week so have to make decision before 1st game as trade this week (Sandon Smith) funds upgrade to Yeo

Logically it would be a red dot this week and Nikorima next week, but hard to tell

Surely everyone gets some clarity on Robson 24 hrs out? They have 5 Origin players I think, can't play smoke and mirrors with them all in a 19 player team. Was pretty clear after Origin 1 - at 24 hrs, Holmes and Cotter came into the 17, and Tuilagi was out.

I want to know for Granville more than Robson lol.

Yep, I traded him in round 14 also. Silly move looking back now, but depending on what info we get, I'm happy to turf him now if there's a suitable option. I'll need to use 3 trades though to field 17. I have Preston also and he's surplus for me in round 19 so toying with him out also. Issue is, only higher end player I'd want now is Haas.

    was going to go

Olo Alamoti to Cartwright + Munster

but losing faith in Cartwright as the week goes on and ill eventually need to nab a good center as I only have Manu.

As a H2H player who will be moving on Robson first week of finals if i hold him looking at

Olo Alamoti Robson to Munster Penisini Hands

I wanted Gagai but then I cant go Robson to Munster

    thoughts?

I've been thinking about the Hand on Penis combo quite a lot for myself. It looks and feels the goods but means I have 4 Eels out next week, so not sure.

Really hope Papenhuyzen is back next year and can stake his claim for a jersey… think him at 1 is our best option with Trell at centre

And then he says in the press conference that you can't have a bench that covers everything. Actually, it's pretty easy to construct a bench that covers everything. One half who can play centre (like Burton), one lock who can fill in at hooker (like McInnis) and a couple of middle forwards, at least one of whom can play edge. There are other ways of doing it too, it's not rocket science.

It's a particularly odd comment when you consider that QLD do more or less have a bench that covers everything. It's not that hard as you say.

Fullback goes down? Grant hooker, Hunt half, Munster FB.
Winger/centre goes down? DiFi has started NRL games at centre, either starting centre can push out to the wing.
Half goes down? Hunt half, Grant hooker.
    Hooker? Grant
    Prop? Collins, MoFo
    Lock? Cotter
    Edge? Nanai

DiFi to centre isn't an ideal plan B, but I'd certainly rather have a guy who started NRL games at centre last year as my backup than a hooker who has never played there before.

Think QLD are spoiled with Hunt who can play hlf/hok at an elite level

NSW would best be served with Burton on the bench as a genuine utility. Used to be Wighton

I like McInnes as an option. Can play middle, tough, all effort. Then hooker if injury hits. Off the radar since he’s benched for Sharks but was on the cusp of selection when still at the Dragons

I don’t mind the Robson to grant trade being thrown around
Probably something that would have happened later anyways so if you need to make up numbers this week it might as well be a keeper you planned on bringing in.
