I’d also like to congratulate Turps and Hands owners. Both won over Simpkin IMO. Can’t believe Turps is playing 80 each week while I’m convinced Hodgson is done and Hands will stay.

ForanAgainst wrote:Wow! What a fantastic shit show of a TLT that was! For the past several weeks, whether right or wrong, it’s been trade in this player, don’t look back and hope for the best. Might have to do a minute or two of somewhat careful thinking before I make a decision. Sandon is out for me as I already own Ted, Turpin, Nutcher, and Manu. I could look at Cartwright as a cash out option. Not sure I like my chances of Basil and Stimson swapping on game day. In conclusion, this is bound to be a revert back to the old style of reading way too much into the sitch and regretting the result. Thanks for reading.
Made the choice that the cash outs couldn’t give me wood, so it’s Luki to Harris this week. 4 trades, $352K. Time to hope for the best with the following:
Cook
De Belin, Harris, Horse
Lemuelu, Hopgood
Nikorima, SJ
Manu, Penisini
Garrick, CNK, Ponga
Turpin, NAS, Ted, Butcher
Hynes, Bateman, Bula, Oloa

haha fair play, I was only joking with that avatar
People will be so confused all week, even this congratulations is a mind trip
I would hold hands but then I would need to wait until after the eels bye and pay more.
Probably end up with PETER MAMOUZELOS (Yes I had to copy and paste that name)

Taken 26 mins only to backflip on this
Reckon Null still gets 45-50mins, matches Koula for scores, with the upside of R19 and potentially working back to an 80 min EDG role with an injury elsewhere.
Will bleed cash but do I really need it? Probably just don’t sell him.

I looked at doing the Turps/Mamouzelos combo for the 16/19 byes before electing for Simpkin.
I just couldn’t stomach Turpin for some reason.

BTW @Contrastinghobby - Jamie on YouTube saying you sold Null this week and all his followers now think you’re Nostradamus. Don’t think it's true?

Will also likely get Granville when the 24hr cut has Robson come in. Maybe for Munster.
All this assumes no Origin carnage or other late changes, so not much point thinking too much further in it yet.
Who said you could use the image of my wife as your profile pic?

I knew you were going to write this so here is my prepared answer
- TLDR:
- Nah I didnt sell him haha, I think some people focus on my team more than I do haha
Best thing about being first is everyone gets to let me know how many trades left, how many playing and be critical of everything etc
Arrogant, humble, lucky, spreadsheets, damned if I do, damned if I don't
Just making a few gut calls and moving on
To be fair I barely look at the team, this time of year most of it is out of your control and I honestly dont have the time.
Same reason I didnt worry losing a heap of origin players last week or having some benched now.
I did oloapu and miller early but not that one and avoided a bunch load of shittos, in fairness I would rather keep Lem for a couple weeks
One injury or a late swap and you would be kicking yourself and wasting yet another trade on a centre
Perhaps swap with Bird in rd19 worst case if thats meant to be, see how his injury is going etc
The next 2 weeks really are just a weird holding period, teams are all over the place
After origin things should be clearer
Anyways its tough with not a lot of clear cheapies, the best players are in origin and then we get all these selection hand grenades
Tread water to get a solid full team and push shit to the following week I reckon
Brimson, hands, te whare perhaps for gambles?
No clear cut options so just roll the dice and move on

Agree mate hold Lemu for now you’d hate to sell him then he still plays 55mins or if an injury happens and he starts again.robelgordo wrote:

On Hands my mate says he’s heard off a mate Hodgson looking at a round 19/20 return make of that what you will. I can’t get Hands anyway as I already have 3 Eels.
I’m thinking I might take a risk actually and go Oloapu to Brimson, if Slater keeps following the trend it’ll be Dearden back 18th man for origin 3 and Brimson should play round 19 and I am short a WFB and he’s DPP. He’s lost 160k as well. Obviously his 2 hammy injuries this year is a concern.

Am on leave atm, so no work worries. Got a feeling when the deficit gets under 100 things will pick up.
