    Cook
    Horsburgh, jdb, NAS
    Hopgood, Hosking
    Johnson, Metcalf
    Manu, Ramien
    Ponga, Tedesco, Drinkwater

    Haas, Robson, Stone, Crossland

    Oloapu, Preston, Bula, Hynes

Option 1: Pray Hosking makes his way back into the 17, Pray Klese pushes Stimson out before the game and trade him in for Oloapu

Option 2: Trade Hosking to Bird

Both options include over-reliance on prayer and a certain amount of stress and crying Embarassed

Anything else I should be looking at?

Happy to field 16 at the expense of not having to trade in another centre.

I'm in a similarish position of needing an edge and a centre with Ramien and Hosking out. It's not looking like Hosking is going to be the keeper I thought he might be with Sorensen seemingly ahead of him now. I think I'm going Hosking + Granville to Bird and Simonson and playing Bird at edge this week. Simonson gives me a second centre this week and cover in general but also my 3rd WFB for 19. I have 7 trades going into this week though and with these trades am mostly set for r19 barring injuries so willing to take a bit of a punt on Birds knee.

I don't think Smith is a good cashout, though he may be a good cash cow if Sam Walker's out long enough (he needs 3-4 games at least so Walker would have to be out until R21-22 at the earliest).

Jed just isn't that good, and his byes are at really annoying times, plus I'm wary of a late swap with Chee Kam.

Hands may be worth it if Hodgson can stay out of the team, but at the very least he's played every game this year since debuting so he'd be fairly safe in the 17 even with Hodgson back, so maybe he might be the better cashout. He is a bit pricey for a cashout but may be worth paying the extra there.

Like most on here I have no idea what trade/s I’ll make this week.
One thing I do know though, I won’t be making any trade until I see a final team list.
Todays team lists will look vastly different to final team lists.

Yeah, I'm wary about MCK too.

The only thing with Hands is that he doesn't play next week giving Hodgson an extra week to get back. Kinda have the feeling that Hodgson ain't coming back though.

Yeah that is a potential problem but realistically as a 20th/21st man I can deal with Hodgson coming back, Hands has shown he'll still get in the 17 even with Hodgson there, so at the very least he's in the 17 each week which is my prime consideration for a cashout.

I think I'll go him over Garlic for a bigger score this week, then have three Eels out next week (Hopgood, Hands, Russell though might sell Russell that week if there's anyone decent to buy). Also means I can sell Liddle before R20 if I need to as Hands would just be my hooker in R19, but I doubt I'll need to do that.

Lots of mention about S.Smith, Hands, Jed Cartwright regarding cash outs but what about Te Whare - main upside is that he has CTR/WFB DPP, and could potentially provide a WFB number in Round 19 where there isn't many options?

Because cashouts need job security and VTW doesn't have it. Unless we hear that Brenko is out long term, I don't trust him to stay in the team for the rest of the season, whereas someone like Hands will at least be in the 17 every week even with Hodgson back.

You've been talking Coates up, what about him?

Coates being in the Origin side dampens his appeal somewhat, and I haven't really talked him up that much. If he was available in round 19 I would probably get him but I have enough WFBs as it is (Walsh Edwards Bula Ponga, Sami, Manu and Russell).

Hands is a much better option for this week's score (given Hodgson isn't in the squad at all so you'd think he plays 80), and that he's available in round 19 and 20 if I need him.

With Boyd, SJ and Hynes in my team, cashouts like Hands, Simpkin are a bit pointless since I won’t be using them in 19.

What I really need is an EDG, CTR or WFB cashout and I really don’t like the look of any of them, so the wait continues

Sitting at 452nd in fantasy & top 1500 in supercoach. Gotta be happy with the season so far. Keen af to sit down on Thursday to react to Origin HIAs/Injuries and plan out trades - going to be a huge 3 weeks till we get those extra trades!
If you're keen on Punting/Draftstars for Origin, I've left the following msg in the Betting and Draftstars threads. Feel free to get the convo going on there!

I've gone nuts with creating content for Wicky so people get the most out of our (largely free) content, data tools + community. All the videos are here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01YuFmklBJo&list=PLTRjeU0qeRmYOf6TG4KhuBeZotyTj0tEs

Probably hold Koula and sell Null now. To Bird makes the most sense on paper, but I’d like to see this knee last a game. Was thinking Jed, but Te Whare does seem a bit more fun.

Will also likely get Granville when the 24hr cut has Robson come in. Maybe for Munster.

All this assumes no Origin carnage or other late changes, so not much point thinking too much further in it yet.
