With Horse and Papa out round 19, I look forward to Tapines 50 minutes that week.

I just created a poll for R19 numbers, if Horse and Hynes are playing Origin here https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t2252-expected-number-of-players-for-r19
I will have 10 players and expect that will still be competitive

When you write it all out like that it looks very promising! Always that tinge of concern based on seasons gone by...but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing a playoff match happen at Mt Smart for the first time in a long time!
The draw does look promising, but like you, that optimism is quickly crushed by seasons of being a Warriors supporter and the knowledge that it could all come crashing down at any moment. I'm scared enough to look at that draw and think 4 top 8 teams in a row? We won't win for a month!
It already feels weird considering that we might even have a fraction of a chance of beating the Rabbitohs, who we've lost 13 of the last 14 against. I don't think I can handle getting any further ahead of myself than that.
Then again, you really couldn't ask for a better run home though than 5 bottom 8 teams with 3/5 games in NZ...

Is Hynes playing game 3 pure speculation at this point, or was there some comment indicating that?
I'd also have 10 as it currently stands, but planning to bring in one more Edg/Mid before then.

Speculation. More just a way to clearly frame the question, to allow a simple answer.

Yeah I think just speculation. It’s definitely possible thoughmrbrownstone wrote:

I agree with Gus (rare occasion), bring in a draft system.
If a player wants out of their club mid-season, into the draft they go and the lowest ranked team can pick them.
/if they pass, the second lowest and so on.
I wonder what were Gus's thought on sacking coach mid season

Just got back, no surgery needed. Another 3 weeks with a sling for the fracture to heal up.Chewie wrote:
Taking about medical updates, heading to the fracture clinic in the morning for another set of scans on my shoulder. Fingers crossed that surgery is not necessary
A few sessions in a bacta tank should fix it right?
It will gve the AC joint (grade 2 injury) time to heal up as well, then rehab

Definite sell for those who have trades left
Wish you well with the rehab Chewie, sounds like a decent result

Horse and Hynes is enough Origin carnage for most. Would be really pissed off if Mofo, Koala and Horse all played Origin 3, when I have 6 forwards that could have played R19.

Mofo played last game and now Flegler is injured. How does Mofo not play? Horse is the frontrunner now too as a Flegler replacement. Perfect opportunity to blood another forward with the series wrapped up.

Not saying he won't, my earlier post was before knowing of the Flegler injury.

I’ve got trades but I’m holding; just won’t feel right without the big bundle of fur.
Godspeed Chewie!

Yeah you’d think Mofo is a certainty.wolfking wrote:

I’m hoping this can be a no trade week with a dead rubber Origin around the corner but wouldn’t mind grabbing Blore. Gut feeling one

Wow surprised Grant 7-1 here, sorry I honestly thought it would be Haas as the favourite hence the order. Not rep farming.
Cheers for the votes lads.

Way too early to speculate on R19 numbers other than everyone will end up with less than we initially planned and hoped for, as per usual.
Maybe it's fine, or close enough, in which case not worth considering all these contingencies.
Or maybe Hynes, Horse, Koloa all make the Origin Teams, Null is injured, a couple more go down this week, and suddenly I go from Mr. Johnny Loadsoftradesleft to being proper fucked like the rest of you plebs. In that case also not worth considering all these contingencies yet.
Basically I'm just taking it one day at a time like any good professional athlete or fantasy coach does.

I voted Grant, because he's seems at least 5 points ahead of all the other hookers
Whereas there's a bunch of MIDs that are at worst, a couple of points worse than Haas, and at best, match or exceed . And that's before you consider Haas has a bye in R25. Include but perhaps not limited to: Yeo, Horse, JdB, Carrigan when he gets his first try and opens the floodgates, Murray if he gets fully fit, Hopgood maybe, whoever next gets on a streak like AFB, Tino have...

SOO1: Storm has a bye - Welch 19th man
SOO2: Storm play, Canberra has a bye - Horsburgh 19th man
Hard to tell which one would be preferred but if I had to guess I'd say Welch.
