Hard to tell which one would be preferred but if I had to guess I'd say Welch.

The other forward Slater has regularly mentioned in pressers is Hopgood. Parra have played every Origin, so perhaps not been considered as a 19th man, but could be up there with those 2 for top 17 role.

Think it's unlikely though as the other 2 probably better like-for-like with Flegler

I voted Grant, because he's seems at least 5 points ahead of all the other hookers

Whereas there's a bunch of MIDs that are at worst, a couple of points worse than Haas, and at best, match or exceed . And that's before you consider Haas has a bye in R25. Include but perhaps not limited to: Yeo, Horse, JdB, Carrigan when he gets his first try and opens the floodgates, Murray if he gets fully fit, Hopgood maybe, whoever next gets on a streak like AFB, Tino have...

Makes a lot of sense and Grant's also cheaper with a lower BE.

Not sure I wanna sell Boyd yet mate in case Hynes makes origin then I’d need Boyd in my halves for round 19.

Curren team with 151k spare and 5 trades is

    Robson
    Haas JDB Horse
    Bateman Preston
    Hynes SJ
    Lemu Manu
    Teddy Ponga Brimson

    Boyd Liddle Turpin Penis
    AJ Bula Matto Hopgood

Flegler's picked solely to be the douchebag taking dogshots. Horse can do that and more, so seems the obvious replacement to me. Will definitely keep Tatola this week and get a couple more cracks at a crash play for one of those high 50/60 scores.

Ah yeah ok I guess you don't really have any obvious trade outs for this week, agree you need to hold Boyd.

Not sure if already posted but Bird talking a bit about his knees:

“Obviously I’ve had some problems with my knees in the past, but this doesn’t really have too much to do with my recent surgeries or injuries," he said.
"It’s tendonitis in the back of my knee, so it’s something to do with load… it’s a little bit sore, I felt alright out there tonight, but I hurt my other knee tonight in my popliteus. It’s hard because my knees feel good, everything around my knees feel good – I don’t know what is letting me down.
“I’ve had my tests… he’s ticked it off that it’s not arthritis, so that’s a good sign. I went and got scans on both my knees in the last two weeks and they came back with nothing relatively to worry about.
"It’s got to be something a bit deeper than what we can actually see. It’s alright sometimes, but when I’m doing back-to-back training sessions, it’s a bit sore. Once I’m warmed up, I’m okay.
"The boys had been playing so well the past month, so I feel like we just didn’t play to the intent they’ve been playing to. I kind of feel like when I come back, we lose games, so maybe I should sit out.
"I take accountability obviously and I like to win, and we haven’t won much with me on the paddock... I don’t want to blame myself."

Everyone took the early plea, except Walsh obv.

Host misses 2, Niukore 3 and fines for the rest.

I tend to agree. If I had a great boss, and he was the only good thing about where I worked,  then the immediate boss is fired by the tools in upper management that have mismanaged the organisation for the last decade, and is replaced by someone that I don't see eye to eye with, I start looking elsewhere.

Yep, nothing wrong with firing your boss and fucking off over the horizon.

Does Host out make my Cartwright trade in less embarrassing? He's still probably a late swap for MCK

Still, if he gets the edge spot it will be a nice rd. 19 addition at CTR.
