At my school, every class has multiple laptops open waiting for the chance to purchase tickets.
One girl (Yr.11) spent $4000 on 4 tickets (VIP).
Some parents have too much money.

Points worth more than cash this time of the season.

Just realised that with me in 1234th live rank, I am the same number of points away from 36th, as 36th is away from first.
Am I the only one who thinks Burton is criminally over rated as a 6?Snatchpato wrote:Burton and either Hynes/Moses would be my pick, 40/60 kicking ratio or something. I think Burton would be a real threat in origin and I'm surprised he's not been given the 6 jersey yet.

For real though, it's windy and cold and the ball and surface will be slippery. Could be a big game for the boys in the middle.
Its top of my vocabulary with mates but that’s about it.Aardvark wrote:
I once called someone an 'obnoxious little cunt' in a meeting...it got the reaction I was looking for and, for the record, no one disagreed or protested (except the OLC)
I did work in the manufacturing industry at the time so it wasn't a total shock.
In general I have no issues with either saying it or hearing it but I wouldn't use it at work anymore.

What’s your goal? Top 50,100,500,1000?
How many points is this out of curiosity, interested to see how this looks now you mention it
Trades are probably worth more than both, it’s a shame you don’t have any. Waiting a week on Cleary is the smart play.mattnz wrote:

I’d like to see him play 6 in a good team, he has moments but dogs are catastrophic
He does get a lot of good press/wraps so he is definitely overrated by media

Will see how round 19 goes. If I can hold ground then (can field 12 if Horse and Hynes play), then 100th seems a stretch goal for the rest of the season.
Rank improvement has been consistent, with just 1 weekly rank drop since R6, which was the week Cleary scored 106 and while he was in my team, he wasn't my captain, but still only dropped 100ish ranks that week.
R6 - 20,265
R7 - 18,347
R8 - 14.050
R9 - 6,303
R10 - 5,569
R11 - 3.953
R12 - 4,077
R13 - 3,296
R14 - 2,433
R15 - 1.869
R16 - 1,472
R17 - 1,184

The only top tier guns that are better than others in their position, with a 60+ average that I am likely to finish the season without are Haas and Yeo.
Feel like I can compete though, as I am not sure anyone is finishing with Cleary, Hynes, Fifita, Grant, Haas, Yeo, JDB, Horse and 1 of SJ/DCE/Moses. If I am just missing 2 of that group, should be able to come storming home hopefully, and can trade sideways within that group in case of injury / suspension if needed.
