Although writing that out I'll be short MIDs in R20 so the plan has gone to shit already.

My plan as well although I did the cashouts this week. Already have Haas but planning to grab Cleary, Fifita, Grant (about 2.65 million, have 525k in bank so need 2.15 mil of players. Hopgood, Turpin and Bula will be a little short (about 1.9 mil conservatively) so probably need to cash down CNK or Ponga.
Team will be
Grant
Haas JdB Tapine
Fifita IPap
Cleary Hynes
Manu Simonsson
Drinky Teddy Garrick
Bateman Boyd SJ Ponga
VtW Simpkin Ramien Cashdown
With 7 trades to cover injuries till the end of the season. Maybe pickup a discount DCE or Murray in there somewhere (perhaps over Cleary first week back). Wouldn't mind Tago either.
This is likely to all go out the window as things turn to shit but I'll cross my fingers and toes haha.
That looks pretty good to me, although Simpkin probably needs to be on your tradeout list as soon as Api gets back, Re rd 20, hopefully Bateman gets MID so that will be one, Simpkin to a cheap MID could be another?
Completely agree with Welsh Mafia's original point which was trade out guns at your peril. and then don't wait for the price fall that never comes to trade them back in.

How many trades remaining and how much cash?
Going to jump in here too. Have 6 trades left, $237k in the bank. Plan is to get Cleary, Fifita, and Haas in round 20, having used six of Warbrick, Turpin, Cogger, Robson, Cook, Bula, Preston, maybe CNK, for three round 19 cashouts and the three round 20 upgrades.
I got Haas this week. Will get Fifita in R20 assuming he backs up. Should be Ok for a straight swap with Nikorima or Turpin based on team lists/BEs at the time
Will likely get Cleary the week after he returns. Few options for getting him, Bula + Turpin/Nikorima to Cleary + cashout is one I'm looking at if it works. Can also ditch Preston for Cleary if need be.
Think I'll grab Cam Murray in R21 too. ~650k for a good chance at a 60+ average is going to be mighty tempting. Certainly better value than an extra $200k on Isaah Yeo

Good points. I think the play is probably to just delay Cleary (or Fifita if reduced minutes R20) a week and hold Hopgood while Tapine and JdB on the byes. Then cashout Simpkin and Hopgood r21 for Cleary/Fifita.

The DPP changes don't happen until *after* R20, so Bateman won't help there.
My plans to get Haas and Cleary (already hold Difita and brought in Grant) are also a bit messed up by one of my R20 mids being trade bait. Still, there's not much harm in waiting to R21... we don't even *know* that he's coming back early. Haas straight in though, as long as he's backing up. I think Matt is overrating the number of trades people will need to blow to get those players in, but the timing could be interesting depending on positional set-ups/byes/injuries etc.
The unknown is whether Garrick gets CTR DPP. If so, he becomes pretty much must have, although I quite fancy him for top 3 WFB anyway.

You see, reporting your player's huge, victorious 3-point update, the downdates of three other popular players, ignoring all the others, and calling one of them "Lemon" is possibly why you rub so many people up the wrong way.

Is everyone's emergency score missing in their total? VTW is missing from mine and I was going backwards as though he wasn't playing last game, when the average players in the game was just 1 and he was one of the top scorers.

Dont be an asshole for a change, lots of people call him lemon. No commentary around any of the downdates and a 4 point update is nice for VTW.
Just because I am the one reporting the highly owned players, dont be a shithead.
Which highly owned players were missed?

Excuse me?
You big upped your player and picked out the forum owned players that downdated that you don't own, because you are a genius, or having a run of luck that is seeing you score almost as well as the rest of the forum, or whatever. It's totally par for the course with you, and needling and boring.
And for all that you're victim in your mind, you're the one who ad-homs "asshole" or "shithead". That sort of thing isn't directed at you, although it easily could be.
Lemuelu is null or Lemu or Lemmy usually, I think. Haven't really seen "Lemon" except from you.
ps. Nobody fucking cares about your AE. It'll work out, and then you'll tell us about it.

You can't tell me 1 highly owned player in the top 1,000 or 5,000 that I didn't advise updates on.
Is it my fault that all the highly owned players that I don't own downdated? or just a coincidence that you have decided that I am at fault for reporting?

I hadn't seen you ask, because you edited your fucking post while I was replying, ffs.
JMK. Isaako. Piakura was a popular trade in. It doesn't matter. You knew what you were doing, you were rubbing people down. And even if somehow it wasn't deliberate, it looks deliberate with you because it's the sort of thing you do all the fucking time. Not a big deal... keep getting your kicks that way if you like. Seems pretty odd, but takes all sorts.

I don't normally consider myself a cynic, but why the fuck was Lyon even out there in the first place, let alone just for an extra 10 runs. I get he 'seemed' to be okay with it and was lauded, but gee, absolutely horrible leadership from Australian Cricket in my humble opinion.
