Definitely have to sell the King this week. Going to be interesting if I can flip some 600k WFBs to legit guns in other positions over R20/21

He has largely been mocked the last few years as not a "great" fullback and not deserving of big money. Then that report came out this year saying Eels were looking to replace him.
Guy is all heart, bit like DCE and Jurbo. Everytime he is on the field you know he will leave nothing behind. I feel like Haas is starting to fit into that category too. Tommy D is another one.
He should be starting FB. Goes 200% all game and has better goal line D and playmaking than Edwards
Edwards shouldn’t even be in the convo imo if Teddy does retire from rep footy then Gutho should be the 1. Or Drinky if they want someone younger
If Gutho was a QLDer he’d have 10+ origins. That’s the difference
I'm not sure how Gutho would be 10+ origins. He can't even crack the starting side in NSW, how would he make an even better team 10+ times???

Was pretty set on Penisini and Gutho this week until that team list dropped.
Now I have no idea who to get. Probably should go cheap though to open up the funds for Cleary/Fifita

Tyrell Sloan is legitimately one of the top WFB options to take the field this week. If you can get anyone you're probably doing OK
I'll be running Bula + Kris

Pre TLT my plan is to trade Turpin to a WFB, VTW..maybe?
Would give me 13 for the round and a loop between Simpkin and Hands provided SJ is playing.
Grant(loop)
JDB Hopgood Tohu
IPap Bateman
Hynes SJ
Lemuelu Alamoti
Bula Sloan VTW
Simpkin Hands
Haas, Robson, NAS, Ponga, Drinkwater, Manu
I'll then have 2 trades ( +8 ) and 510k to finalise my team for the run home.

Kiraz the only WFB option I'm somewhat considering buying.
At 415k he's priced at about 30, with a career average of 39.1 at WFB (70+ mins) and a ceiling in the 90s. Not the worst high upside loop option.
On the other hand, he's not scored over 50 since round 4, is coming off a 12 in 80 minutes, and with the Rabbitohs, Broncos, and Penrith in their next 3 games, the Dogs might be in for a few more floggings yet.

He looks like he's having trouble stepping off a heavily bandaged knee.
Great scoring potential, but only once he's less broken.

Ideally the Rabbitohs are terrible without their 4 best* players. This week will be the one week where we really need his score so hopefully a bounce back game is in store. The other weeks he could be a loop option if possible.mrbrownstone wrote:Kiraz the only WFB option I'm somewhat considering buying.

With Murray, Host and Koala out this week, Jed is surely playing 80?

In that order but the halves aren’t must haves if you have Hynes, Cleary, SJ

I'd say Fifita, head and shoulders over the next best edge, and just in general one of the best scorers this year
Then probably Grant, who is 10 points a round better than the next best hooker (excluding Cook who still misses 3 more rounds this season)
DCE might edge it over Moses. over $150k cheaper, and plays an extra game, even if Moses has a better average.
Partly depends on how you think Storm/Manly/Parra will go for the run home as Grant/DCE/Moses will all do better if there's lots of attacking points on offer

Katoa at 381K another one that potentially has a bounce back factor.

Montoya would be my pick of these two.
Sharks tend to hit Nikora or Kennedy before the ball gets to Katoa at the moment.
Montoya also seems to have a better base.
He's looked a bit off the past couple of weeks and would've scored pretty poorly if he didn't jag those tries though.
Seemed to be shying away from kick returns and often getting crunched/pushed back when taking a hit up.
EDIT:
Wow kick returns really dropped off more than I thought:
Averaging 39m kick returns this season.
round: kick return ms:
10: 70m
11: 77m
13: 28m
14: 51m
15: 52m
17: 6m
18: 11m

Bulla's 36 BE is still reasonably achievable vs sharks
