Ford - no way. Ex owner, couldn't do it again

Barnett - Curran back next week

Speaking of, Jazz should be back soon and his injury was the reason AFB's minutes jumped up from 50 minutes to 60-62.

    Horse,JDB,Tapine out that week too

Seems like a future me problem.

Half expected haas to be rested after origin in rnd 20 anyway so its much of muchness really, the only thing is whether his ankle is 100% in rnd 21. Feel like broncos are taking this time now to get it right so im confident he'll be all good

Thanks mate, yeah I was thinking exactly that. I was tossing up Munro or Mulitalo. Both opposite ends of the price spectrum. Any other opinions anyone between these two?

Hmm I'll only have Hopgood with Tapine, JdB and Haas out, yuck. Maybe Tohu and whoever backs up out of Yeo and Tino. Good call out.

If Haas doesn’t play Round 20 would you expect them to rest Carrigan as well?

I'm thinking of going Cotter next week. He's super cheap at 571k and averages over 50 in games over 50mins. I think Payton will play him longer minutes given their position and how badly they need wins.

Fark when the pack has Niakore and Curran back, with Jazz to come also... surely AFB goes back to the 50 minute role? Those guys are much more capable so he may not have to do the extra shift to cover the weaker plaeyrs

That’s a very good price for cotter, could be a steal

Payton has been known to play silly buggers with his minutes but they have such a tough schedule and need as many wins as possible you’d expect him to play on

On my radar, thanks for highlighting

    Potentially yeah

Coach seems to favour Niukore & Ford on the edges, although Barnett has been injured most of the year to be fair.

Walker/Barnett/Ale/Jazz the 4 bench players I guess at full strength

    AFB/Afoa starting props

    Hi all

I almost never post as I always seem to be trying to catch up on 20+ pages of topics and trying to absorb all the collective genius that is in the forums.

I'm doing terrible this year which I'm putting down to a variety of excuses, but still love fantasy so want to do as well as I can till the trades run out.

Anyway...there's actually a question in here somewhere...

What are people's thoughts on Briton Nikora in for Horse? He plays 2 extra games, secure position, fairly consistent and I would gain 110k from the trade. If Nikora gets 50 average from here then horse would need almost 65 avg to match him...It would be my last one and would mainly be for the cash for future upgrades.

It wouldn't be as exciting each week but would be better for the long term I think

    Others thoughts?

Massive props to the forumites who are doing so well - especially Booze - I used to follow his updates on his team trackers when he was doing it before it was the cool thing to do. Very well deserved - may it continue for 9 more weeks (although maybe make it a bit closer for the excitement factor  Wink )

May even wait until r21 -his break even is 66, and if he is managed after origin could pick him up for 550k or even less.

The next question is whether to trade out Tatola or JFH for him.

    Hello, Post more

I think Nikora is a good buy, if you have the trades to spare right now then yes Horse will be out for the next two weeks, so between now - end of the season you'd imagine Nikora would score more, the only "problem" is on a week to week basis Horse scores more

I say do it if you have the spare trades

I wouldn’t be selling Horse, averaging 60+ in his big min role including a slow start and games on EDG

I’m selling Cook to Nikora with the same logic

But find someone other than Horse, he is elite

I see Jed Cartwright signed with the Knights from 2022 onwards..

Probably explains the lack of opportunities in 1st Grade recently..
