Milch's mention of Sutton earlier got me thinking - I could get a cheap MID this week (that would be a long term 19-21st man) and move Hopgood down to EDG.

Any better budget MID options than Sutton this week?

    EDIT: Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui maybe?

Yeah just saw that. I’m not sure the Dogs can score 2 tries total a game

If you don’t intend to play them unless of emergency than yeah mini Tino is the good cheap option

I’m opting for points this week so not getting him, but could be a cash out option next week if he’s named again

Simonsson really has been scoring well at CTR hasn't he? Think I should be grabbing a CTR this week due to Dolphins bye rd 21 (Lemu and new VTW owner this round). Especially if they keep shifting Lemu to the bench - he could be a sell anyhow. Ramien & Talakai also options but think I prefer one of the Eels CTRs, last round bye be damned. Sorry for the rant I am verbally processing.

Why did Sutton only play first 21 mins last start prop and not came back on again?

Seen Ryan Sutton mentioned and I understand the price but is anyone considering Max King?

Back to bigger minutes reminiscent of the start of the year could indicate he is getting over the niggling foot injury he had earlier in the year? I'm certainly tempted if those minutes go back up.

Four players in the first game means there's a chance my round is over 90min in.
    Anyone got five or more?

The more I look at it, the more I quite like Sione Katoa as an option. Last three seasons he's scored 16, 9 (in 12 games), and 14 tries, for try scoring rates of 0.9, 0.7, and 0.9 per game.

So far this year, he just has 6 tries at an 0.4 try scoring rate.

Over his career he averages 36.6 on the wing (70+ mins) and is currently priced at about 28.

I know there's talk of the Sharks going to the other edge, hitting Nikora etc, but it does feel like he's due to go on a bit of a run and the Sharks being done with byes also adds to the appeal.

Add him to the growing list of shittos. He's as good a punt as any of the others.

Yeah this is what's putting me off. Paying 380-400k for Te Whare, Kiraz, Sivo, Montoya, Avo, Katoa et al. feels like a lot for a one week loan to sit in EMG for the rest of the year. May as well just get Munro, cross your fingers, and maximise cash.

I would probably get Munro but same issue with Kris, I'll have 4 on a bye next week which could be a problem.

With the bye structure this year, I think it's worth having green dots for cover on those weeks with at least semi playable players with job security.
