But look, I bought TPJ a week before he lights up the skies with an 11. And Brimson/Robson/Young before Freddy. Cheese in and out, TTurbo in and out, Teddy in and out and soon to be in again....

There's a lot of luck in the game. That's part of the charm. Sure skill plays a major role, but luck is the key determinant.

Just gotta enjoy the sound of dice rolling, and be prepared to take your licks when they snake-eye.

Looks like he got an extra tb instead? On second look, that’s probably fair. The defender fell off him

Any interest in Verrills? Played 80 mins last 3 games for the Titans and averages 49 when playing over 70 mins at hooker. No more byes and could be a solid 150k undervalued so would get a nice discount for a 17th man type player.

Not a bad shout at all. Sadly I need a hooker nearly as much as I need tickets to Donald Trump Jr's speaking tour, and so shall pass on what looks like value.

Big Tommy busting out a 40 when I absolutely needed one! I’ll forgive him for being shit the other 18 rounds!

Having iPap and not Bateman feels like a huge blow this week

That Mulitalo score is rough, while I wasn’t quite as optimistic as NRL.com, to me he was clearly the guy capable of a big score but also good enough long term you could hold as an 18/19 or WFB3 loop. Basically was on him until Thurs morning when I decided I need to save some cash.

Outside of last night he has a 15 in R1 and every other score is 30+. So it’s a rough time to cop the variance.

    So here's what I'm thinking.

Haas is a clear gun, but he's only playing 6/9 games from here. I need a WFB so thinking of either a full cashout to Munro, or a cash down to VTW.

Doing so will give me 635k-781k based on current funds (and who I go for).

The plan is to use these funds + Tatola/Simpkin/Bula to get Yeo/Fifita/cashout next week. Yeo + Fifita + Cashout (250k) will cost me 1.928mil, and based on footystats BE calcs, I will have 2.1mil to spend (and that's if I choose VTW over Munro).

    Essentially, it's a 2-week plan to go Haas/Tatola/Simpkin/Bula > Yeo/Fifita/VTW/Cashout

Is this worth it? The upside is getting more games out of Yeo than Haas, Fifita a clear gun, and I get to play 12 this week instead of 11. Would love to hear thoughts.

Ugh - I paid up for Ronny thinking I could keep him for the rest of the season. I can still do that, I just have to resist rage trading him next week.

Same with Ipap, brought him in for the previous bye. Has been disappointing. I planned to keep him and get Fifita but now I think he will become Fifita.

I have four trades and one vacant WFB or CTR spot. Considering bringing in a shitto and crossing my fingers. One who has the potential to make cash this week, maybe VTW.

Without actually looking it up, IPap has been fine.....except for the actual major bye rounds, which is incredibly frustrating

    Yes seems worth it.

Do you have any other cheapies aside from VTW and the cashout you will get next week though? I think it's important to limit the duds for the run home this year with the byes and VTW has some risk around his JS.

Best punt if VTW for some reason doesn’t feature on Sunday?

Campbell probably could go big at FB?

Only Hands, got Ford as well but monitoring his possibility of being a keeper.

Who do you think is the best choice for a WFB now? Don't love VTW, but could be great if he holds his spot. Also considering Kris I suppose.

The WFB options are all so equally unattractive in their own ways lol

I like VTW the most scoring wise but I value job security pretty highly at this point. The last thing I want is to have to have a dead spot if he loses his spot or having to use a trade on him if a couple of 1 week injuries or suspensions hit along with a bye.

Kris is so meh to me, very good sample size this year at fullback and he is averaging 27 with only 2 games over 40. I'd like a bigger chance of hitting a big score with these volatile WFBs if I have to play them.

It's between Averillo or Kiraz for me, both have more potential upside than Kris. Probably going Averillo because I like the CTR dual. Montoya probably after those two but I wouldn't want three Warriors out in rd22.

Coming back around to Avo but Kiraz is a fine punt IMO.

Although after Katoa and Talau last night, every other option will go sub 20, just has that feel.

All good. I said at the time out should be one or the other. If he broke the tackle then TB, if a defender still holding them OL. Happy purchase either way. (Although he made we wait all 80 minutes haha)
