Not a bad shout at all. Sadly I need a hooker nearly as much as I need tickets to Donald Trump Jr's speaking tour, and so shall pass on what looks like value.

Fair chance there would have been hookers around Trump's tour, had it gone ahead Very Happy

So you're saying I need to resist rage trading both Ronny and Ipap.

    Good advice, thanks.

That's absolute rotten luck on the Ronny front.  Just wasn't his night.  Talakai took all the gold on that side of the field.

Was a toss up btw him and Boyd last week. Liked the Dpp of Boyd and the fact Verrills doesn't mind a injury

All good.  I said at the time out should be one or the other.  If he broke the tackle then TB, if a defender still holding them OL. Happy purchase either way.  (Although he made we wait all 80 minutes haha)

    Yeah happy with the purchase

I thought it’d be awkward getting an EDG when Fifita is still a target but might flip IPap for him. Aside from the 80 he got the other week he’s looked poor from the eye test

Similar story here - 323/5c with only 11 in play this week (Metcalf outside the 13)

The WFB options are all so equally unattractive in their own ways lol

I like VTW the most scoring wise but I value job security pretty highly at this point. The last thing I want is to have to have a dead spot if he loses his spot or having to use a trade on him if a couple of 1 week injuries or suspensions hit along with a bye.

Kris is so meh to me, very good sample size this year at fullback and he is averaging 27 with only 2 games over 40. I'd like a bigger chance of hitting a big score with these volatile WFBs if I have to play them.

It's between Averillo or Kiraz for me, both have more potential upside than Kris. Probably going Averillo because I like the CTR dual. Montoya probably after those two but I wouldn't want three Warriors out in rd22.
thanks for that analysis mate, I like the way you think. Avo should be good to sit in EMG most of the year and loop, outside chance of a good score this week. I like the Kiraz playstyle better, but the extra 60k could be better put elsewhere I think.

One thing to remember with Avo is that he's not there next year.
Not saying it's likely to happen but a possibility he isn't playing fullback let alone in the team towards the end of the year when the dogs are well out of it.

Ah true... Worth considering... I'll double check calculations and might grab Kiraz if the numbers work out.

A good point but I do feel like this never actually seems to eventuate in other cases each year (this will probably be the one time it does haha). Not sure who else they'd turn to other than going back to Perham.

I do prefer Kiraz as well Snatch but yeah I've done the planning for my gun trade ins and the $46k extra could make all the difference.

Might just go all out and get Isaako then use him as a straight upgrade next week.

Haha I keep thinking of grabbing those more expensive guys but then I’m like I’ll be so pissed if they pull a Mulitalo. At least if Munro scores 15 I won’t be too fussed plus the extra cash will make me feel better.

I think I might have a little more leeway. Should be able to get Kiraz this week, then Yep + Fifita + 373k for a third...

So can easily do it, but wondering if down the line an extra 46k will matter... In any case, I've got time to make the decision because I don't think I'll get Kris so doesn't need to be made today.

True, but using him as a rental with the plan to flick him straight back out means no difference. I know fantasy is fantasy and plans go crook each week but theoretically, there's no difference in having the money tied up in a player for a week, or sitting in the bank for a week, IF you have no other major outs for the next week.

I guess you need to look at the one week plan in a vacuum........or something. Laughing

If you need to get a cash out to facilitate Cleary + Fifita in, why not just do it this week and get the confirmed points (i.e. Munro for a nice 12)? Are we all expecting a 240k starter to pop up soon or what?

I’m probably looking at Piakura next week at 302k

Riki due back in final rounds so should be solid 30 most weeks and then bench in final rounds if desperately needing a green dot

As to why not cashout this week, needing a cashout and a mid range CTR, figure I might as well grab the more expensive player this week

I regret getting Kris instead of VTW last week because of "JS". His recent scores looked mud

    Snatchpato wrote:So here's what I'm thinking.

Haas is a clear gun, but he's only playing 6/9 games from here. I need a WFB so thinking of either a full cashout to Munro, or a cash down to VTW.

Doing so will give me 635k-781k based on current funds (and who I go for).

The plan is to use these funds + Tatola/Simpkin/Bula to get Yeo/Fifita/cashout next week. Yeo + Fifita + Cashout (250k) will cost me 1.928mil, and based on footystats BE calcs, I will have 2.1mil to spend (and that's if I choose VTW over Munro).

    Essentially, it's a 2-week plan to go Haas/Tatola/Simpkin/Bula > Yeo/Fifita/VTW/Cashout

Is this worth it? The upside is getting more games out of Yeo than Haas, Fifita a clear gun, and I get to play 12 this week instead of 11. Would love to hear thoughts.

It's the type of trade I often do over the bye period.  In fact I am doing.  Nearly did it with Haas( who as you say misses another game). I traded Horse instead,  but same principle.  I would have preferred a full cash out,  but didn't like anyone,  so went Ramien. The plan will change further as stuff happens,  but plan to get Horse, jdb or Yeo back in at some stage.

I went Horse to Nikora as per a previous user's analysis that Nikora only needed to average 50 to outscore Horse's 65 average... saved by the bell a bit in week 1. Now considering trading out Haas for Munro so I can play 13 this round. Would be able to grab Fifita + Cleary next round for Simpkin + Liddle. 6 trades would be for injuries, guns I'm keen on that i'm missing until injury strikes are two of Horse, Haas, Yeo, Murray.

    TU: Don't do it
TD: Haas --> Munro this week, Simpkin + Liddle to Fifita + Cleary next week (6 trades left).
