Should be a good match up, we're both coming off big scores but will have to dig deep into our reserves with numerous players out even before TLT and not enough trades remaining to replace them all. Best of luck.

Congratulations on your victory! No excuses here. The better team won and hoping you win our bracket and then bring home an Eliminator championship! All the best for the remainder of the competition. cheer

Been loving all the interest in this comp, both in main thread and this one. Will officially update either tonight or tomorrow morning

After taking down world number 1 this week, things don't get a whole lot easier for AwanaMafia up against last year's semifinalist Bish's Beasts

Cheers, was very close in the end and Averillo tried his best to reverse the result by taking out Lemuelu on Sunday.

    ROUND 2 RESULTS
    ROUND 3 DRAW

Tougher round this week, just 4/32 hitting the grand this week. And some upsets!

    BRANDON AND SANDON BRACKET
    ELIMINATOR 2023 - Page 7 Elim2318

RIP top seed and WORLD #1 Boozecluez, beaten by former Eliminator champ Awanamafia and his monster score. Awanamafia was 52nd in FOG when I seeded this at R18, he's come into 25th 4 weeks later. Huge charge!

His next opponent is last years semi-finalist UKJC, who ended the fairytale for the lowest seed still in the draw (Rooster Booster)

Other side of the bracket sees the TEAM LISTS CREW EXPLODE~! Winfield does 80% of the work and I'm hoping the heavy load leaves him tired and vulnerable this weekend.

The bracket where the favourites continue to win, absolutely no value for the punters here so far.

    NUTCHER AND EUTCHER BRACKET

    ELIMINATOR 2023 - Page 7 Elim2320

Faringdon continued his giantkilling run with this rounds narrowest victory, but now has the difficult task of trying to beat Easy Tiger

On the other side Milchcow paid for prioritising the monthly prize over eliminator glory, losing to Pacey, who is now the lowest seed left in the draw at 54.

BCT05 might be a Star Wars droid with that name. Which would explain the comfortable win over Chewie, who has returned to his home planet Endor in shame.

Oh it's just defending champ Dark Knight easing himself back into the comp with 1074 Shocked

Cookie Monster also had a very good score.

Both are lower seeds in their matchups this week, as the draw gets tougher every week!

Did you just call Chewie an Ewok?
    lol!

I hope he's not going to the meet-up, you might lose some limbs

The Chewbacca Defence says he's a eight foot wookie that chooses to live on Endor with two foot Ewoks and that does not make sense

Love Endor... but yeah, it's not my home.
Captaining Cleary would have given me the win... wookiee error

    Ewww Roosters fans

Actually if you want to support a fellow traveller, here are the favoured teams of the Eliminator participants, based on NRL fantasy pic or forum knowledge

    —————

    Awana mafia - Warriors

UKJC - Leeds Rhinos… incidentally was talking to a guy at kids sat morning soccer last week wearing that horroricious purple/pink Rhinos getup. He seemed pretty stoked anyone knew what it was! Aside from it being a crime on everyone’s eyes.

    Robelgordo - Illawarra Steelers

    Winfield - Tigers

    Green Schist - Warriors

Aardvark - has an aardvark pic, comes from Broncos shire tho

ytsb - Ref pic, but think might be Roosters?

    Robertneville - Dragons

    Easy tiger - Tigers duh

Faringdon - pic is a red dot, obviously a fan of Soviet Union team Dinamo Siberia. Or more likely, another Wahs supporter.

    Pacey’s Best - Souths

BCT05 - pic is cryptic but guessing Warriors

    Enchanted glossy flamingo - ????

Dark Knight - curb your enthusiasm and also Warriors

Cookie Monster - Sesame Street Snuffleupaguses

    Rhinoceroo - roosters. And Rhinos.

    —————

Lot of Warriors love, expected given the lack of SuperCoach presence outside Aus. Roosters, Tigers and Dragons fans a chance to win something in 2023! And Leeds well repped.

The Snuffleupaguses are actually a pretty good team with some genuine superstars playing for them

The Count is the premier fullback in the league. Nobody can organise the defence like him and he's almost impossible to tackle due to all the sunscreen that he is slathered in

We have the tallest player in the league on the left wing; can't be beaten in the aerial challenges

Honeydew and Beaker at 7 and 6; a smart halves combo and no one has a running game like Beaker. He's a bit of a nervous player though

Elmo is a very effective lock, especially after he has done quite a few lines. Looks like this by the time he runs out

    Elmo ready for battle:
The integrity unit is going to get him one of these days

Oscar is our enforcer; grubbier player than Nate Myles and Josh McGuire combined

Even I get a game occasionally as a low minute/low impact bench prop. Kind of like George Rose, except not as fit and nowhere near as impactful

Grover is in the Centres and is the most overrated and least talented player in the team. Fuck that thin good looking guy
