Last week I had Togatuki as Edge.
Now she is only available as Mid !!

They changed some things between Monday last week and kick-off on Thursday I think.

I was looking to run Kezie Apps on the Edge to grab Ponga at WFB vs the Bulldogs.
On Tuesday I realised Apps was in as a MID and Ponga as a Half, and thought, well that sucks.

Then on Thursday went to make a decision and noticed Ponga was now a WFB. I don't know what would've happened IF say I'd selected Ponga at HLF and then not rechecked my time.

Nevertheless, the updates seem to make more sense from the few one's I've noticed... albeit there is real inconsistency with updating (e.g. when was the last time Cameron McInnes played Hooker?)

What are we thinking in Mixer this week?

Cleary, Fifita and Kelly still no-brainers I think? Especially with Togatuki becoming a MID.

McInnes over Grant is worth a look, bit worried about Grant coming off the bench or getting a rest against the Dragons. Cowboys v Sharks should be decent for tackles and 70+ minutes.

Hale vs Taufa is my debate each week, but still haven't brought in Hale, just due to them being pretty similar and the much lower ownership. Taufa attacking upside vs Eels is nice this week. Hale's base has gone to another level, so might switch.

Upton vs Pelite is similar to the above, similar players in terms of fantasy output I think but lower ownership makes me lean towards Upton.

However, after scanning the numbers I might play Tonegato at WFB. I dismissed her initially due to non kicking 5/8ths being a fantasy disaster generally in the NRL. But she's putting up high 30s in base at 5/8 plus all that attacking upside. Although they have the Roosters this week! Hmm.

- male + female for every position (12 slots), or
- keep the current mix, but add male and female forwards and backs FLEX positions (10 slots).

In the very least, change McInnes from HOK already lol

I’m looking at Power or Apps on the edge who would you go? Seems like Apps relies more so on tries and Power offloads and tackle breaks.

Apps has much higher base, but TBs are base for Power.

I'd lean Apps.

Gets more interesting in finals when you only have a few teams to pick from, but agree they could tweak it.

Big one for me this week, for the first time since the opening round I remembered to select players for my Mixer team before game 1.

Usually I remember halfway through the first Friday night NRL game...
