    Initial thoughts

How the fuck is McInnes still a fucking hooker in Mixer

Clearly stick with HOK, HLF men, CTR NRLW but other 3 are a lot closer this year with NRL WFBs doing well.

I struggled last year going too differential so may just end up with the bog standard NRL HOK HLF EDG and MID CTR WFB NRLW. Really like the look of Kernick for Roosters though as should move into middle.

Like the men, Eels and Tigers look the worst teams

Tonegato at half is also interesting, averages close to 50 at half if you extrapolate the PPM. Would be hard to go past Cleary if he's healthy. Brigginshaw tore it up last year too and has good numbers in BMD .

I hope Amber Hall is ready to go, she could be fun. Great shout on Kernick, her numbers were really good in the middle for BMD but less good in SOO.

The most interesting name out of BMD was probably Bree Spreadborough, listed as a winger but played the last few rounds at Lock and scored really well. Maybe one to keep an eye on at the Broncos, but unlikely to start at lock over Keilee Joseph.

Good to see Hale and Taufa at only 5% ownership, easy money. Although Haas will be tough to avoid.

Berry and Pelite over Upton is probably worth a bet at WFB too.

Kelly at CTR as always, but Sergis actually averaged higher last year.

It's actually a bit more interesting this year.
    CTR is obviously Kelly.
HOK probably has to be McInnes, but maybe Harry gets healthy or Reed/Liddle.
WFB is most likely one of Upton/Berry/Pelite but Tedesco/Ponga/JC worth a look. JC you could almost boost with his base and upside.
MID Haas/Yeo or Hale/Taufa. Probably boost on the female MIDs, or maybe you boost Kelly?
    EDG Fifita/Angus maybe Kernick/Hall.
    HLF Cleary boosted? Maybe Brigginshaw/Tonegato.

Taufa coming back from injury, says due back R1 but don’t think she played trial

They added average points in, I'm guessing from last years mixer rounds only?

So ownership percentages have changed a lot. Going to be hard to find an edge!

And I swear Tonegato was a HLF last week scratch

There was some weird glitch when you click on profiles, still a HLF

I tried to add as WFB and it says she’s not in that position

NRL physio raised a real interesting option of Daine Laurie at FB, averages 54 in his few games this year starting

They actually call this out in the "How To":

Each player will be assigned to one position only based on the preferred position assigned in the official stats feed (so no dual-position players and potentially some odd position assignments – is there an advantage here?).

I'm guessing they just can't be fucked

So NRL fantasy reassigned him to MID at some point, but the actual stats profiles never has, so he’s a HOK in mixer? I just think it’s funny rather than caring that much

Yeah, I think it's great. Imagine the e-mails they'd be getting in proper fantasy.

I think they have a bigger problem in that they have used 2023 player lists

Was spotchecking Sharks to see other random wrong positions - and saw Conor Tracey is a HLF. 5 seconds later realise he now plays for the Bulldogs. Then saw Wade Graham is still listed.

Then checked and no 2024 rookies are available. So you can't pick Galvin, for example. Or literally half the Tigers team

EDIT: I think its the same with NRLW players e.g. Hancock is still listed as a Titans player, and can't see any 2024 rookies.

I literally saw when I looked at it initially that Troy Dargan was in mixer, who was the player that passed away

Still leaning to just playing it safe this week and boosting Cleary and Hale.
