Burns injured as well, his position should be fairly safe now, scored 25(?) doing next to nothing all game

#2 Any news re: Haas and his ankle? How bad was it? With the Broncos draw, they are going to need all hands on deck. Kevin mentioned about resting players, but honestly, I could see the Broncos losing all games moving forward which is crazy.

If resting players, you'd imagine Haas & Walsh wouldn't get a rest based on the fact the Broncos still have a bye, and Haas & Walsh have been out a while

Do you think Edwards is still a buy for a set and forget WFB?

Such is the lottery of WFB

It’s probably Drinky + Ponga then take your pick for the third. More so keep what you have rather than waste a trade on someone else

    Teddy
    Bula
    Edwards
    Walsh
Manu (if two other playable centres)
    Gutho
    Etc

Drinkwater too expensive now for my liking, will look elsewhere and just bring out the voodoo doll

But yes I agree, his form and therefore his points have been unreal past month or so

Quick sums and I can’t get Fifita + Cleary unless I trade out Hopgood, which seems dumb since RCG is suspended for a while

Likely going to do Tino and Robson/Tohu (leaning Robson) to Cleary and Murray, then hold 3 trades for remainder

    Grant
    Horse JDB Murray
    Nikora IPap
    Hynes Cleary
    Manu Tago
    Drinky Ponga Teddy

    SJ DCE Hopgood Harris

Averaging 40 in the 5 recent games without Cleary. 54 with him this season. 46 with last year, 42 without. Priced around 43 now. I reckon he's a good buy still if you're in need of a WFB. I don't need a WFB currently, but a Drink to Dedwards trade still isn't out of the question at some point.

If his name was Turbo or Trell then the media would be all over him

Probably a Dally M smokey if he didn’t get suspended earlier in the year

I’ll be tempted to sell Drinky when his bye comes around. Maybe by then someone else would have hit some form.

Allows a fair chunk of coin to be used elsewhere for the final few weeks as well

The 4 try 98 does skew things a little though. With that he's averaging 49.9, but if you exclude that he averages 46.9 in his other games. Still good, but that's definitely a bit of an outlier.

Only 993 points for me this last round, all the points that I gained on Booze lost...
It will take a miracle to catch him now

    I'll be lucky to field a good 16 and a sub-gun at 17.

This is why I'm confused people switched away from chasing cash cows quite early in the piece. The rhetoric was 'now is the time for guns' etc. Even now a Munro trade might net you that extra $$ to afford the upgrade you can't afford

Might have to go Yeo over Haas after all as can't quite afford what I'd like to do with Haas.

    Initial thoughts

    Boyd to Cleary
    Tohu to Yeo
    Preston/iPap to Murray

Would leave 5 trades. Null and Bula 18th and 19th men.

For Drinky non-owners, he is not worth buying now.

Right now I'm running Ponga + Edwards + Garrick, though if I could I would also buy Latrell for that upcoming draw.
