The only guys I can really see that TU gets you but TD doesn't are Averillo and Suaali'i, so if you want one of those two, go TU

I’m assuming the first player is just a cash out. If that’s the case I wouldn’t be spending over 300k in any scenario

Just on this, found it weird that Quai-Ward went from preferred centre to out of the 23 completely, I have a sneaking suspicion that the terms of release might’ve been one of those weird ones where he’s barred from playing the team that released him and he’ll be back in over Skelton come TLT

Is he on loan from the Broncos?

That’s quite common in football circles.

    Random 996.

Hopefully updates are accurate, sometimes 1-2 points different from rounding errors I think.

Oof good game happy to concede and just grateful to be involved.

Afaik he wasn’t loaned, he’s been released to them, but it might’ve still been one of the conditions.

Was a close one mate! Lucky for me Hands busted out a season high and I scraped by with 999 to 996.

I didn't check your team until after I gave up the bye and realised I could be in real trouble Laughing

Let’s say hypothetically you’re in my position. 6 trades left and you have both Matterson and Tohu in your 17.

One of them needs to make way for Cleary. Which of the two would to trade out?
And after making that trade, would you sell the other for Bateman knowing you have 4 trades for the remainder?

Interested in this too. You could throw Hopgood and Preston in the mix for me.

At this stage, I’m leaning Tohu out - even though I only just brought him in for Carrigan, i didn’t like what I saw on the weekend. Have owned him before so knew he was damaged goods. I guess the last sub off was due to illness which may go away by this weekend, but he may not be getting the big minutes I bought him for.

As for Matterson to Bateman, also depends on who is your 18th man and what your bye coverage is like? Will you need that extra trade to field a strong 17 week in, week out, given potential injuries/suspensions/byes? RCG’s looming suspension hopefully means a bigger role for Matterson too in the next few weeks.

I’m in the same boat regarding Tohu/Matto.

Currently leaning towards Tohu out. He just looks crocked and every carry he gets up wincing. His scores when playing 80 are great but I don’t think this Warriors side need to flog him for 80 every game. They have plenty of options to cover him and with them more than likely getting finals this year you’d think they will want him fresh for that.

On the other hand Matto still managed to hit 43 points in 43 minutes and with RCG getting the big suspension he shouldn’t be playing such few minutes again. He also has DPP which will help to cover others byes.

    I’m currently sat on:

    JFH > Cleary
    Tohu > 379k

Not really sure who I’ll grab, most likely Piakura with Riki not due back until RD26. This will leave my 18-21 for the run in as Matto/Boyd Averillo Piakura Skelton

Has anyone else just come to the crippling realization that they can only afford a good 18 and not a good 19? OH GOD

Any thoughts on Tohu & Sorenson for Cleary and Murray?

Don't have to do Sorenson to Murray and it's quite possible they match each other over the next 7 rounds but feels like an upgrade in rugby league or ceiling terms

I realised that ages ago, but I am happy with my 18, and at no point in the run home do I have 2 of my starters on a bye at the same time so if injuries are kind 18 will be enough

That could work....I even thought about Jolliffe as a cheeky 19th man after watching him play longer minutes against the Dolphins but he's out until 24 with a busted hand (which actually makes Mofo even more appealing)

I like it. Harris to Cleary absolutely. Sorenson's been solid, but apart from the two try performance, he seems like a 45-55 guy with Murray a 55-60 guy. As long as you've got a few trades to spare, I'd do it.
