cogger, simpkin out - cleary, skelton (also considering colquhoun). leaves me with 2 trades left

    robson
    hopgood, jdb, horsburgh
    d. fifita, bateman
    cleary (c), hynes (vc)
    manu, averillo
    drinkwater, tedesco, ponga

    boyd, sj, bula, lemuelu
    tohu, nas, skelton, h. graham

You've got cover for the byes too so that's great. May be stuck with the likes of Averillo and Bula, but its balanced and pretty solid.

To fund cleary with the players i want to punt, i have to pick up someone 229k or less. Which basically leaves da silva, wishart, skelton, and soni luke haha

Yes but a dpp red dot in a couple weeks could have been handy

Having a look at it, think I might keep him and ditch Preston instead.

Despite the low score last weekend, Tohu's scoring in general is much better. It looks like some recency bias assuming Tohu is done for the year after just 1 bad score. Prior to last week he has averaged 57 for the previous 8 weeks without missing a game

Worried about reduced minutes if they look locked for a top 4 position? He's had niggles throughout the season and need him for finals.

TU: Robson + VTW to Murray + Timoko (means I cannot get Cleary)

TD: Robson + VTW + Manu to Cleary + Timoko + Suaalii

Good point tbh. The bye is putting me off a little i guess. But that may be good for his scoring in the remaining games too

You could apply the same logic to just about any player. Easy to talk yourself out of guns with what-ifs.

Main reasons I'd keep Preston over Tohu are that he plays EDG, which would be more handy than another MID, especially if I end up selling Hopgood
Also Tohu+SJ have a bye in the same week. So keeping SJ+Preston instead just gives me a bit better bye coverage

Whispers Jake Simpkin could be off to Para to cover the loss off Hodgson.

cheers bro both averillo & bula on a good run atm i'm not so worried with bula he's gone well this season apart from a few duds lately but looked back on it last week & averillo at fb is a different fantasy beast because he has the room to show his blistering pace & he doesn't get the room at ctr.

Who is Dan Russell and is he a chance at being useful?

Nswrl site says hes from Longreach, must be a tough unit. Avg 39 in nsw cup this season mixing between edg/lock

A small victory, Taaffe retained as bench utility, Mitchell handcuff by the looks.

Webster has maintained all season he wants to give Tou a break, but people kept getting injured or other reasons means he couldn't

We are basically full strength now, I think Tohu will be a 65 min player at max

    Alright, caught up now

Can't believe Skelton didn't get DPP, Garrick getting it is ridiculous - No Bateman is annoying too, but not end of the world

Someone mentioned Haas of the Titans variety, I thought it was known he was ahead of Stimson in the pecking order? That's what a few folks said here anyway

And someone asked about Skelton job security, perhaps if JAC is back Skelton will get dropped, but also Skelton might be preferred to Alamoti now so perhaps Skelton into CTR if JAC is back

I'm looking at $313k or less and the options aren't much more appealing

I havent seen any footy lately but digging for positional info suggests Skelton played on right with Kiraz last week, and will again this week.

Addo carr is left wing, yeah? Maybe replaces wilson. Or yeah fuck alamonti off

Playing right side against the panthers left edge isnt great news.

Regardless, i am not playing skelton anyway, just hoping for someone who isnt a permanent red dot in a weeks time

This week is hard. Not difficult hard, I mean the feeling I get when I look at my team after trades.

    So hard.

Right so ive landed on (likely)

    Guth to Kiraz
Harris to Fifita (maybe trade preston instead tho)
    NAS to Cleary
VTW to Skelton (or someone else extremely cheap)

Leaves 6 trades and basically zero bank

    Grant
    Haas Carrigan Horsbrah
    Fifita Bateman
    Hynes Cleary
    Manu Ramien
    Tedesco Drinkwater Ponga
    R: DCE SJ Hopgood Preston
E: Kiraz Hands Skelton LEMU (bye)

Might actually keep Harris, as better mid coverage

    Looks good tho

Edit didnt realise dogs have a bye coming up as well. Yeah i think ill keep harris for now and flick Preston. Its been fun lad
