Need Brenton Lawrence to get off so I can pick up the extra 2k I need to trade JNiko to Parcell. Might do it regardless of suspension but that's a very risky move

Also who would you guys captain out of parker, j turbo, woods or cartwright. I'm mainly tossing up between parker and jturbo, leaning more to the class of parker than the form of jturbo.
Definitely not Cartwright clacker
He spent most of the match convincing me I am getting rid and would need be at all surprised to see a 30 something from him next time out.
J Turbo looks good be beware of buhrer back on extended bench.

Looks like he targeted the side of Moopers knee to me then arrowed in, easy enough to tackles the thigh and slide down and shouldn't be allowed either especially when the tackles was already made, different in the open field one on one and tackling low IMO
A defender still has the right to bring an attacker who is standing in the tackle to the ground, instead of waiting for him to offload. I dont think he targeted anything, just went low to bring Mooper down - and did make a tackle, as opposed to just diving head first.
Besides, he's my starting hooker. Give the bloke a chance.

Hey it's gotta be better than what LAM and Evans are putting out, although not completely there fault but that's the position I'm in. I think I'll toss this one to and fro for the next couple days.Krump wrote:

Of course he does mate I get that but you can tackle low without spiralling into the knee region, I can remember watching the game and thinking straight away that's going on report as opposed to your everyday 3rd man tackle, he has a record of being a dick regardless, 1 week minimum I reckon and he has carry over I thinkryno_ wrote:

parcell is better than koroisau.
i was pretty confident in pre season that parcell would be the #1 hooker at the club, many argued against it. i guess it remains to be seen whether koro works his way back in but IMO parcell will lock down the 9 and make it his.

[quote="Welshy"]
Reason I didn't start with Hunt was Auva'a hanging around on the bench all the time
2 try inflated scores but on closer inspection he is averaging nearly 30 points a game in base stats, not sure if its worth turning Green into him though? or keeping the cash[/quote
Not sure I like getting Hymel Hunt now
Surely if he interests you at 250 then Pat Matautia at 210 must appeal?
I don't know with these sort of players. But as cheap as you can for bad players (rookies) and otherwise work towards gun upgrades.
Dugan is the best near term prospect by far imo

Quick look at BEs and LAM may have outstayed his welcome. BE that is 15 points higher than his average, not fulfilling the role that he was selected for, and the trade leaves me with a fair amount of cash for next week.
Wish me luck

merrin is at training again today. he will be fine. i guess the only problem is the possibility of reduced mins this week but if you're trading him out based on that i think its a bit crazy.

His ownership is at 1.7%. Anyone know what it started at?Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Quick look at BEs and LAM may have outstayed his welcome. Was it only the fanatics picking him?
Based on his projected score he'd only lose another $5k. Not that the projected score means much. But to save 5-15k it may be worth saving the trade and giving him another week.
He's fit and still starting.
N.b. I'm trying to convince myself as well. If BE was 60+ he'd be gone

Sure Merrin will be hitting his straps soon and busting out 55-60s
Perhaps he has been ill over the first few weeks which has been effecting his workrate?
Don't drop Merrin. He was one of my biggest regrets pre season not being able to fit him in, instead of Cartwright. He is a keeper and will come good. Got stitched up at the dragons last year and is of S Burgess DPP quality capable of 60 average which not many players in this entire game are

Maus BE is only 29 or something though, so think if he's the guy I'm after then I better do it now, or next week it doesn't happen at all potentially

does earning a DPP status depend on TLT's or final team sheets (announced 1 hr before kick off) ?

Isn't in when the player actually lines up in that position on game day, not just named. That's how I remember the discussion goingmy tv broke wrote:does earning a DPP status depend on TLT's or final team sheets (announced 1 hr before kick off) ?

Cheers mate!Welshy wrote:
didn't see BLaw's offence mate but Carter deliberately went low on Mooper around the knee when he was tied up by two tacklers, real dick move and he should be banned for at least a round
So my FR and SR is currently made up of:
J Brom, A Woods, JTrbo, BLaw
Surgess, Carter, Tapau, JSafaiiti, A Paasi, Leuluai
With no DPPs to switch in.
So assuming I lose all four of the guys who are fronting the judiciary, what should my plan be? I also have Scott and Benry in my team so I actually have a bit of work to do just to get a 17 that are all starting....
I've been considering a few options:
Option1: Leuluai > Cartwright/Yeo/Mataroa & Ferguson > H Hunt (leaving 11k/91k/93k) & meaning I likely have to have Paasi, Mitchel, and JNik in my 17
Option2: Leuluai > Ma'u & Ferguson > Denniss/Olive/Eden (leaving 69k/70k/90k) & again meaning I likely have to have Paasi, Mitchel, and JNik in my 17
Option3: ?? open to suggestions.....
My full team currently is (with 216k):
McCullough, Cherrington
J Bromwich, Woods, JTrbo, BLaw
Taupau, P. Carter, Surgess, Passi, V Leuluai, J Saifiti
Hastings, DCE, J Nikorima, C Walker
P Mata'utia, Croker, Scott, Henry
Barba, Ferguson, Wighton, Gutherson, Mitchell

A solid 2 week plan. Is it going to be tight money wise with next weeks planned trades or are you sitting on enough cash
Just had a look and at current prices it leaves me only 18k so I will fall short. May have to go Ma'u and Lawrence instead

tough mate both quality options in a tough position, does Dugans better dual edge him in front?
Maybe. I think.he is the better pick as he will be cheaper and I think at FB he has a greater floor and ceiling compared to Bird, but Origin and injury history is a bit of a worry. Oh well that's a problem for the following few weeks
