    TU: Rocco Berry
    TD: Leo Thompson

432k is my max budget so can't go any higher than these two and Leo's averaged 41 in games over 40 mins this year (all but 4 of his games), while Rocco has a great draw outside SJ.

Mcinnes I am warming on over Murray purely because of that rd26 bye
If you lose a couple and have to cover that bye too then it could be fun

I don’t expect Mcinnes to score huge but 55-60pts from base I can live with and hope he can jag a try
Worst case you can have fun counting tackles

    Cheese:
The roosters need to win and score points
They need him out there big mins and to play well if they have any chance
If you can loop in his good scores even better and his mid DPP could be very handy
Not without risk but the upside is there

I have also started noticing a heap of posts/podcasts choosing players based on ‘fun’, I like it
Love this trend, keep it up

    You've definitely started something....

there's so much fun around I'm considering only picking players that cause me existential angst from here

He’s usually so invisible when Souths play I can’t recall what side he plays on

If it’s against Lomax, it’ll be the same story it’s been since junior reps where Lomax gives him a bath.

One is a complete footy player, otherworldly flick passes, high ball threat, great defender who usually ends up having to defend for his winger too, kick goals. The other is made to look good by his surrounding players, only stands out for being tall and looking like a serial killer

Thinking I might go Dan Russell instead of the two guys I mentioned earlier, how safe do we think he is on that edge? I noticed that he's on the right edge while BMM has always played left, and BMM isn't in the 17 this week anyway.

312k for 40s in 80 mins on the edge is nice, and leaves me an extra 120k for my final trade (probably going to use that to upgrade Piakura when he loses his spot to Riki)

    Q. Is owning Latrell considered fun?

    Q. Do i want to deathride Drinkwater ?

    Q. I could actually keep Drinkwater, and trade out Carrigan instead. But I love Pat. I don't want to do him like that. But it would mean I don't have Haas and Carrigan on a bye at the same time.

As someone who owned Trell in SC for the first 14 rounds, it's pretty fun to own him, you just have to hold your nerve and not sell him if he hasn't gone big for a week or two.

Who do you have to play when Haas and Carrigan are on bye?

    Kiraz/Ramien are my 18th/19th.

My loose plan was to trade out one of them (carrigan) the week of his bye, assuming chaos between now and then is at a minimum.

Adding Latrell gives me the same problem as above, but a week later (two souths players).

    Then Hopgood in round 27.

5 trades now. Assuming at least one injury/suspension. Maybe two..

I think if you want Latrell it should just be for Pat now then. But then that may well be entirely sideways as they could go and average the same and both have a bye.

Pat's been taking it easy out on the edge for the last couple of weeks, he should be fresh and feeling re-invigorated for some big games in the middle lol.

He's also now a try scoring machine.

Latrell defs a boom or bust play.

Yeah I actually think he's a nice pod for you. More points to Latrell perhaps not being a necessary in right now

See, now I'm back in the office, over-thinking silly little trade decisions like this.

Easier to do while on holidays, on the back of 2 mins of consideration and a few cocktails.

Holiday me says trade Drinkwater to Latrell.

Need to decide if I use Avo for a 17th man loop of Butcher & Robson or for a WFB loop of Drinkwater & Bula

better than say McInnes + Cheese/Koro

The 2nd player would be 19th man (unless Grant goes down, as they'd be my only hooker cover) so not essential that they are a 50 point gun. But with only 1 trade left, having playable options better than not having options, so have to think about potential injury cover

I'd be tempted to roll the dice and go with the first combo. Kenny is decent cover at a push, and for mine Yeo is a significant upgrade over McInnes. The only doubt is the possibility of Yeo missing the last round - and getting one more round out of McInnes as a result. But no-one knows for sure whether this is going to happen...

I feel like I would loop the first two, and just play Drinkwater, leave out Bula.

I say this as someone who is just talking about trading out Drinkwater ?

I think I've changed plan and going Dan Russell, he's way better on the edge than I thought (seems good for 40 a game), which Berry needs multiple attacking stats to match.

Also leaves me a crucial 120k spare for my final trade, while going Berry or Leo gives me $0 bank
