That's a nice little bonus this week, can chuck Soni in the loop with someone just in case he somehow goes and puts up a 50.

That's a big ass cloud over Penrith.
Hopefully translates to a loss to keep the ladder close.

geez its making it tough to hold Edwards.
got a few plans that I could do with him.
1. Edwards Kris to Cotric Latrell (only issue wit this is it leaves me with 2 trades left and then I have Hass - Murray and Latrell so not good for H2H GF but need to make it first)
2. Edwards to Kiraz and have 3 trades but then need to move on Kris at some point.
3. Kris Fainu to Kiraz Cotric and just loop Edwards and Kiraz as my WFB/18th man.

That's probably the only one that bites this year for me. Have managed to cover the other ones with alternative options.
Was ranked 51 in rd10 and those extra 150 points would have me ranked about the same.
Got Drinkwater R9 and have stolen your rank as a result (51st)

I think if you need an exemption because you have one injury (Kenny) at a position (hooker) that’s shit roster management and the exemption should be denied

Its probably because of two injuries, otherwise Cogger would just be bench utility

Cynic in me says probably just resting guys over 3 weeks rather than all at R27
I know they still won the comp but they weren’t as fluid in the finals with that extra week IMO

How many are trading out Drinkwater? If holding, who subs in?
Holding Drink with only 2 trades left. Playing Bula and hoping for the best.

I've always thought it better to rest players a few weeks out from finals, rather than the week before. Sometimes need a week or two to click back into gear after a rest.
And as usual, Broncos gifted the perfect bye in round 25. #penaltybroncos

Stop it with your common sense
But seriously just play a bench with an outside back instead or four forward bench. Wayne Bennet strategy and chuck a prop in dummy half for 15 - Moses Leota looks like he can throw a pass

its a real head scratcher to me that in 2023, teams will name a back on the bench, and you get a heap of "what is with that bench lol" comments, from supposed long time nrl fans.
makes perfect sense to me with the HIA concerns these days. four forwards on a bench makes zero sense, and generally teams that do that only use 16 players on game day anyway

Reminds me of the days when Sam Thaiday was the Broncos starting hooker and would come off for Bunt after 20 mins.

I think a great bench setup is the QLD origin side at the moment. 1 hooker and 3 forwards on the bench but they can shift Munster to fullback if need be and bring Hunt into the halves without having to carry a back on the bench.

It’s a luxury having a true utility
One of the reasons Warriors doing so well this year with D Walker
Covers the backs and can play hooker and middle forward role

in most cases a lot of outside backs are used to playing different positions anyway, as well as halves generally have some hooker experience/vice versa.
its really just the teams like parra/sharks that stack a bench with 4 big fellas, that gives them very little flexibility if there are injuries.
eh sorry this is some boring/tedious chat on my behalf
