Its always a hard slog death riding Cleary. He was on 21 with about a minute to go and some quick junk gets him back on track. 31 without a try assist, he is a ridiculous fantasy beast.

Bloody hell, instead of worrying about playing DCE or not, looks like I should have been contemplating whether to captain him over this Cleary bloke or not.

As for Garrick, half time score already exceeding what I thought he'd score in 80mins is a nice start. Hoping he can keep it rolling in the second half.

Commentators saying it was Garrick trying for a kicking duel, something last seen as a promotional gimmick in early 90s State of Origin, and probably in seriousness in the early 80s before that, is insane. Was clearly a really bad 20-40 attempt, he ran right up to the 20 and just got the angle horribly wrong.

Also Burbo has now started 4 games at EDG and made it to the end of 1. Tom suddenly looks like a durable brother
