Have 17 green dots this week, but only Penis in the centre, so going to use my last trade

If Lemuelu doesn't play next week I'll need a CTR then too, and 27 I'm currently relying on Kris + lemuelu so its going to be my best bag for buck

Only decision is whether to trade Palasia for best I can afford, and have Preston available in R27
Or trade Preston to whichever CTR I want, and then hope I can field a decent 17 in the last round without him

Thanks mate. Yeah, definitely my first thought but genuinely worried Melbourne put them to the sword and hinder scoring ability of St George players.

Why not both? Almost every team to win a GF has played a full-strength team in Round 27, it’s not like 1 jeopardises the other, resting players in the last round hasn’t ever really been a thing in rugby league, the Panthers doing it last year was an exception to the norm and only because they had the shield secured

Will be amazed if Papy isn't back next week for Storm, when Meaney takes his wing spot.

Oh yeah I forgot about Pap, Smith definitely too risky then. What is the Storm back 5 when everyone's fit?

    Pap
    Meaney
    Seve
    Tonumaipea
    Coates

Or Meaney centre and Warrick wing? Will be interesting.

    Why not, out of curiosity?

Because of Ricky The Absolute Fucking Stewart, I'm going to have to make a call on either playing Harrison Graham or Dan Russell straight in my 17 this week.

Can't loop, because I brought in Schiller last week as my surefire loop option for H2H GF, should I make it. With Kris and Croker out, and still not even named in reserves last week, I was 100% sure Schiller would not be named again this season. If I said silly things, I'd say I was 110% sure! But Ricky, Fucking, Stewart. What a fucking thing...

Anyway, I wonder if I can try one of these. If you had to play one of these in a cash league H2H GF, who would you pick-

    TU - Harrison Graham
    TD - Dan Russell

My quick analysis is Graham vs Tigers could be a good match-up and a pretty loose kind of contest... could even duck over for a try. But how many minutes does he play?
Russell has been super reliable in recent weeks, but are Melbourne going to pulverise Saints this week and therefore reduce his opportunity to score well?

Gut probably says Graham, maybe? Any strong opinions either way?
Colquhoun my only red/purple dot and he plays first so no looping for me this week. Cheese and Graham outside of my top 17. Think the 17 selects itself

Can see some carnage for some teams with the following players out:

    Lemuelu
    Moses
    Colquhoun
    Preston
    Boyd
    HTF

Not all super highly owned but wouldn't be surprised to see a fair few teams copping 2-3 of these.

Out of all the sub 600k No 9's, I'll prob go Robson. Mainly cause his team is in finals contention.

Ivan Cleary literally said this week that the Minor Premiership means a lot to them.
That they want it, and pointed out that he thinks it's a bit undervalued and that in many sports the major premiership goes to the team that tops the table at the end of the regular season.

But then Ivan has been known to tell the odd porkie

They will want him to play some time ahead of finals. Even just 2 regular season games seems very light.

My guess is that Papi comes back at 14, and stays at 14 for the finals series. Coming back to 80 minutes as a high-energy fullback in finals games after 16 months out is a big ask.

    I agree.
Melbourne haven't looked a genuine contender for most of this year, I think at this point their investment is in his long term future, I don't think they do anything to jeopardize that.

Bench role seems a sensible starting point and still provides the opportunity for him to make impact in close games.
There has to be some chance he's not ready for that this year, even if just in a footy performance sense.
It's a long time out for anyone to expect he picks up exactly where he left off
