This is definitely how I’m feeling with Simo/Teddy. Although I’m not overly convinced the Eels put up any kind of fight against the Panthers.my tv broke wrote:
You could wait n see on murray to haas by having a look at what BS9 scores.. assuming youre online saturday for those games
You could also just fuck off simonsson to whoever you can afford (while leaving cash for the above trade) eg can you afford HTF ? could be a fun gamble. Daine laurie has scored well at 5/8.. etc
Could also backfire, simo scored better at ctr as well.
Tbh id just wait n see on what simo scores and flick teddy if needed
I will be watching the games on Saturday so will get to see what Cheese puts up but I feel like even if he scores 60+ Haas could then go and get a banner haha

Yeah I thought he'd at least get Sandon's bench spot if not CTR or holding the HB spot. Lost a few games narrowly with Sandon and started winning with Hutch. Seems a bit harsh. No loyalty at the Roosters.

I reckon Hutch still makes the 17. Either for Allan or Sandon

Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 79 - Refs own goal
I just received an email from NRL marketing to complete their annual survey.
There weren't many Fantasy related questions mostly "Are you aware of it" or "How many years have you been playing" etc.
So check to see if you've been targeted also, if we can even skew the results even slightly more in favour of Fantasy being important to the average consumer would be good.
I loaded up the comments box at the end encouraging the NRL to stop wasting their money on faff and specifically invest in Fantasy more

Holy crappola... the Bludgers are running with 18, count em 18, green dots this week.
I'm just so overwhelmed that I actually have to choose between Matterson, H.Graham and Koula for my final reserve, I forget what I'm supposed to do.

Whatever Matto scores is effectively halved because of the bye next week, so I'd leave him on the pine from those 3 gems.

Not to mention that he's just a royal pain in the ass this year.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 79 - Refs own goal
REal predicament this week with both Hands and Matto in the Squad. MAtto I'm happy to hold and he is a bye next week, but Hands is an issue.
Holding him means Teddy can become Walsh, however then i'll be praying for less than 2 restings next week or i'm sub 17.
Almost tempted to hold Teddy, hope he's back next week and loop the mighty Bula/Avo one more time and hold a trade into the final rd.

Everyone just going Garrick -> Gagai it seems?
Koula could be a good pick. His (small sample) 2 games at FB for manly were 49 and 57 last year

No Trai Fuller (bench looks better for Graham?)
Foran back could be good for Fifita?
Koula at FB for Mulvy
I like that against the Bulldogs. Edwards into the loop. I'm gonna want 40+ or Koula gets a run.

Robertneville wrote:Still seems utterly crazy that there was no punishment for the Garrick tackle, regardless of the fact that he was in the air and the ball had bounced the onus should still be on the defending player to take him to ground safely.
It is a completely different situation someone being driven into the ground on their back in a tackle compared to losing their legs mid air and landing on their back and Garricks broken back proves that. Those type of tackles are why tunneling has been banned in the AFL for over a decade now.
While it's a technically legal play, it's basically the entire reason the rule was brought in around attacking the legs of a player catching the ball.
If an identical tackle was made on DCE as he kicked the ball it's a 4 week suspension. If an identical tackle was made on Garrick while catching the ball if it hadn't bounced it's a 4 week suspension. It's time for player welfare to be put first and make some changes to this rule

How do we rank the below for the final 2 rds:
Tracey, Walsh, AJ Brimson
Factoring in coverage, scoring ability etc

I'd go Wlash, Tracey, AJ
Based on Ceiling, scoring ability, and quality of team mates.

Or I could play Koula at centre over Null or Ramien. Will certainly wait for final Dolphins lists. But can't loop at centre.

Can’t see Garrick returning even if he wants to. Doesn’t make sense if they’re out of finals contention

If he can put up a 5th tackle bomb that lands within 10m of the goal line, then that'll count as houses down for mine
