I dunno why people dislike Gutho - great player, even on one leg, and his back and forth with the ref last night was quality. Is there a specific thing I missed?

I think it's just media hype. Gets treated as a top 5 fullback but firmly in the 5-10 range

Probably best short side player in the comp though

He just comes across as a bit of a prick to some is all, I think? Good, wholehearted player. Not absolutely top class, but doesn't claim to be. Maybe it's the hair.

Great updates last night, huge jump for Cleary and Luke ending on 37 is huge

@BCT - How do you feel about Hopgood? Glad you made the trade or no?

Noticed in the Arthurs presser that he mentioned Jofa starting and preparing some things for next year in the same sentence. Potential buy for the start of next season? He has dropped a bucket load of cash.

No doubt not glad I made it with him scoring 57, but we'll see if Carrigan can pull out a big one. I'm ok with the thought process behind it though. When two of my edge's end up out next week I'm going to really regret it though haha

But yes worth putting in the "Potentially start the season with" category

Laughing Yeah, but there is an awful lot of data to go through. I'm already on my spreadsheets in preparation.

I threw my team together in about 20 mins, late Thurs afternoon before kickoff. Spent more time looking for a backflip gif.

That's a pretty decent score in need tbh.

Guth seems a bit full on (~ADHD brain?), but i can't really think of anything that makes him a shit bloke? Seems ok to me. Agree with MS take on it.

Someone suggested to me when I signed up here to prioritise fun when it comes to selecting players. I chuckled to myself, and thought, "statistics are my idea of fun".

Typical Penrith, Kenny has been rested for 3 games now.

Would anyone take Penis' 35 over the likes of Null, Avo or Wongy?

Thinking perhaps Wong as his minutes are a roulette.

Wouldn't say a shit bloke - more of a douche.
No off field incidents is always a plus.
Seems to have a big ego and loves a whinge on field though so comes across as a douchebag.

Yeah I'm a bit of a nerd with that stuff. Less interested in footy the past years with the way the game is going, but management and RPG type videogames are my favourites.

I'm just of the opinion that any planning before Rd 1 TLT is a waste of time. Plenty of decisions are made for you once teamlists drop, but I see people agonising over selections months beforehand.
