Probably best short side player in the comp though

I'd say he's closer to 5 than 10. Probably 6 or 7, depending on how Papy returns

Yeah I'm a bit of a nerd with that stuff. Less interested in footy the past years with the way the game is going, but management and RPG type videogames are my favourites.

I'm just of the opinion that any planning before Rd 1 TLT is a waste of time. Plenty of decisions are made for you once teamlists drop, but I see people agonising over selections months beforehand.

I was confused by this obsession with pre season crystal ball gazing type shenanigans (just make a longlist and wait for TLT FFS) but have come to the conclusion that it's all part of the fun for some people. I especially love the "I've got a team I'm happy with" claims prior to half that team playing ressies for the season.

Personally I like the shitposting and piss taking...maybe I'm just scatalogical?

No off field incidents is always a plus.
Seems to have a big ego and loves a whinge on field though so comes across as a douchebag.

I think most footballers are probably not guys i would be mates with IRL, so it doesn't really bother me if they carry on, on field, part of the entertainment really. I don't want to watch 17 drones vs 17 drones.

As long as they keep a clean sheet and arent actual fuckwits/sex pests/abusers/etc off field then have at it.

Pat Carrigan excluded we are besties.

It's always interesting that the guys who attract the most hate tend to be mostly pretty well behaved off the field (as far as we know)

I think it's a mistake to assume how someone acts on the field mirrors what they're like off the field.

Just from playing any form of team sport you know that's not true....I remember having to tell a very good mate, who IRL is a mild mannered and polite academic, that we couldn't have him on an outdoor football team anymore because he while playing he became a complete psychopath who kept getting justifiably sent off and getting us swept up in brouhahas

Robbo's coach media video posted. Can barely hear the journo's questions as usual.

At 10:43 someone asked "Is Juz/Jaz(?) good to go?"

"Yeah he had some meetings this week and trained the other night.. doesn't go away overnight, but it's better than what it was last week".

Nfi who he's actually talking about though. Mic the journos and use the player's real name (journos, and coaches when answering).

Can attest to this. I've noticed it myself while playing soccer for 20 years. I'm usually a risk averse and polite person but get me on a pitch and I will absolutely put my body on the line and can get pretty heated (particularly at refs I think are making bad calls).

Ah yeah, cheers mate. Jared or Joseph (Suaalii/Manu) were my other thoughts, but wasn't aware of any injuries to the latter. Forgot about Jared, so would almost certainly be him.

You’ve got players like Luai, Gutho, JWH, and I’ll even put Moses into the category on the one side. On the other side, you have someone like a Matt Lodge, who I have no idea how he ended in my team for the first couple? of rounds last year.

Tough one as Avo has such a low floor. Angus is taking mins off Wong too, Wong might only get 45mins or so. What is your gut saying?

    NRL.com injury update.

On Teddy - Coach Trent Robinson said on Friday that the skipper was "tracking really well" and would be right to face the Rabbitohs in Round 27 "as long as there's no regression in the work that he has been doing".

I must've missed that in the video. Kinda zoned out when talking about Sam Walker for half of it.

Found it at 4:30 into the video.

Was going to do Latrell to Tino, but niggling feeling Drinkwater goes large tonight.

I know myself. Future me will definitely bring in Drinkwater after a couple of cordials this afternoon, so ive just made the trade now to save myself the trouble

Ivan said in the post match the only real rest was Turuva. The others all injuries, he did say edwards will definitely be back next week, but 'a couple others' probably wont be.

Also mentioned the loss didnt change any plans, if anything re-enforced it (which seemed to allude to restings next week)

But its ivan and he is often full of shit to the media
