Yeah I'll probably put it on either Grant or Haas in the first game

I think the Minor Premiership should be the major prize, and the finals series winner should be the "win $100k for your club" fun round.

No one, because it's not portrayed as important.

So with Hughes out and Papy back, does Meaney play 5/8 this week?

Given the most owned players in the first game (Haas, Grant, Munster) might not play, that might be difficult.

DCE in the second game pretty ladder-proof, and an actual captain rather than VC option if Garrick still out.

FWIW (Obviously I have no knowledge)

I feel that Cleary will play at least

There's no Luai, I'm sure Cleary senior doesn't want the entire team to collapse, and Nathan has already had good amount of time off due to injury earlier in the year

Probably didn't hurt me as bad as the sheer number of dumb trades I made early on.

I should have used my final trade last week to bring back Alamoti for old times sake.

I just saw the Tapine hit on Walsh

An effective solution to a modern problem in the game. Players stopping playing early I mean, not Reece Walsh.

I think the Haas out stuff is a bit of clickbait, but I guess we'll see.

Walters said (re Haas) 'he's being given a rest', but that was re the training session.

He also said (re Walsh) he's not a fan of resting players, but will think about it.

    - Hughes and Grant almost no chance
    - worries about Carrigan - no info, situational (was named coming off bye then withdraw), foot injuries can be difficult timeframes (see: Tago)
    - Garrick very unlikely - has been done but typically 3-5 week recovery range
    - Manu very unlikely but they might push it due to the stakes. Huge reinjury risk tho
    - Luai he thinks maybe W2 finals, high injury re-risk
    - Thought Ponga no chance (since confirmed)
    - Kiraz is done, if reports are correct. very unusual RL injury
    - thinks Hynes probably plays (maybe no GK)

Obviously Harris came after but if there’s anyone else I missed give me a shout and I’ll post a summary of what was said

It's like the Fantasy gods worked down through the list of most popular players and took out half of them - you're in, you're out etc.

To be honest, it's not just fantasy players that miss out this week, but NRL fans in general.

Should be the exciting climax to the season, but instead we get to see a bunch of reserve graders and nobody cares if they win or not. Some of this is forced by injury, but it's a bit disappointing, and they really need to consider a week off before finals
