Ran some numbers, hopefully they are correct. Expand the spoiler for team by team in the top 100

These numbers account for Hors and Manu both out.

*orange dot refers to a player named on the interchange. Numbers do not count anyone named outside the current 17s (eg extended bench)

    Top 100
    Average Green Dots: 10.65
    Average Orange Dots: 0.16
    Trades Remaining: 0.47
Teams with no Trades Remaining: 67
Teams with two trades or more: 11

    Top 1000
    Average Green Dots: 10.36
    Average Orange Dots: 0.29
    Trades Remaining: 0.35
    Teams with no trades: 729
Teams with two trades or more: 71

Only one team in the top 100 can field 17 (motherfucker has 4 trades left??)

    Top 100 by team:

Only 2 of the top 10 are without Manu, and Booze is one of them. So helps him out in the carnage stakes

Now if Reece Robson or Harrison Graham could unexpectedly need to go to the birth of their first child or something, that would also help Booze a bit.

Robson did have a reported sternum injury. The problem is they have to win.

There's only limited changes Panthers can make at this point. Salmon at halfback to rest Cleary?
I think the need to work on the Cogger/Cleary combination means Cleary probably plays either way.
If Broncos win they may give Yeo a rest

Sharks are pretty much safe even with a loss, so they don't need to risk Hynes if he isn't 100% ready.

Sadly it all breaks down when nobody has a trade left to bring Corsbrugh in, even at $220k

The good thing for the Sharks is they play last and know what's required before game starts

Unless Souths and Cowboys both win big (in Cowboys case, win very very big) they can't get knocked out. But on the off chance it is a risk, they'll know it before hand

Odds are that they'll be safe, but playing for a home final which would be an advantage they want, as better than travelling to Newcastle or Canberra for a knockout game.

Start off the bench for 25 minutes, but 2 tries and 74 fantasy points

I wonder how many people will captain Cleary and VC Hynes and end up with no captain at all when both are late outs?

It won't be many, but I also don't think it'll be none.

Banner rotation reduced to the 2 most recent, plus the "Out" banner

If there are any other people want put back in

Also welcome for any off-season suggestions for once the carnage is over.

Now down to 8 green dots and Sandon Smith off the bench lol!

Even if I had 4 trades I would have still been utterly fucked

Noticed the Bulldogs narrative has shifted to 'the players are to blame for everything' with a little help from The Shire and the usual rent a quote bonehead ex players.

If you turn over your playing roster multiple times in the last few seasons, change your coaching staff multiple times and results get worse while simultaneously showing absolutely no signs of progress then it's probably not the players fault.

To change the culture and playing style/results at a club requires solid recruitment, patience and above all 'buy in' from the playing group.

If you're getting a large percentage of the players offside and the current regime has recruited those players in the last few season then you're doing at least some of those things pretty badly.

I'm going to blame Phil Gould (based on nothing but my personal bias).

While he may have got the ball rolling at Penrith, and for that he deserves some credit, they weren't able to take the next step until they sidelined him.

As a qualification, I know nothing (but even I can see that Matt Burton, while very good at Rugby League, is not a player to base a team around)

Not sure why I give a shit....I think it's because everytime I look at fox sports the agendas they push are so obvious it annoys me.
