Should I trade Hastings or Taylor for TMM?

Guess it doesn't have to be done tonight actually.

Taylor. Hastings is pretty good. JNik ahead of either of them.

Thanks Milch. I keep thinking he's weeks away. And you think he's back this round? When will we know for sure? None of the teams involved are playing tonight.

Mate not sure what to tell you. Auva'a will probably only get 20mins again but he seems to be tackling well and breaking tackles on a tired defence. Scott is unknown. If he plays i'd go for him but Unless Proctor is out like rumoured I think Belleache likes starting KBrom.

Hey I wonder if Auva'a will get DPP like Kniko did last year playing hooker off the bench.

Exactly. worst case the Roosters play terribly again, have no go forward and can't muster anything in attack. JNiko could easily score 25 in that scenario but hastings should still score all right as he will be forced to rack up some kick metres. mitchell could have a dud game and Ash Taylor has shown he can as well

Hastings for me. Mitchell a maybe. JNiko a maybe. Taylor misses tackles and not goalkicking?

Auva'a seems to be a solid 20 and just needs a few TB's which he was never likely to get in last weeks game and he could see himself get up to 30. Scott being currently not listed means it is a huge gamble and if the Roosters play bad I could get myself lumped with a 5 from Mitchell as AE. Will probably take the safe option and go with Auva'a

JTurbo to captain? Should get plenty of minutes with no Taupau or BLaw.

Anyone think Woods will get better scores with Farah back? Halatau has been horrendous with the passes and Woods seems to be trying plenty just not racking up his usual scores.

Merrin last chance saloon/sickbay. Only still there because it's his old team and he'll be humming.

JTurbo should be 45-55 through mostly base stats but like last week will need the attacking plays to get himself up into what you would class as captaincy level. Who else have you got.

Woods was going pretty well at the start of last year with Farah there so hopefully that follows through to now.

I know we slagged off Hopoate pre round 1 for being too slow & ineffective but imo he has really played well at f/b & certainly proved me wrong. I have to sell Slater & I think Hopoate could be a good pick plus he's dpp & he's averaging 39. He also looks faster this year & seems to be thriving behind the Bulldogs pack & Mbye. Anyone else been impressed.

    So Slater out:
    (a) Hopoate in or
    (b) Gordon in

    Thanks.

All much of a muchness. Glandular Merrin, Cartwright, Carter, Woods, Parcell, Garvey, RTS, Tedesco (Taupau, Surgess).
Jturbo the most consistent. 55 would be a good score for my captain this year.

My mrs has Hopoate and he's been great. Ugly to watch but scores well.

    I'm a flash fan personally.

They weren't specific other than to say there was a rift between the two & they don't get on. I've seen this on the field Maloney calling for the ball then Ennis dummy's to the left & then passes to his right. This means Graham is getting starved of the ball & it reflects on his scores so that's why I'm selling him.

I'm not saying there isn't a rift between the two [not saying there is either], but the bolded is a pretty standard tactic employed by all teams every game, usually in order to try and trick the defence into stacking more defenders on one side.

In respects to Graham, his last 2 sub-50 scores were more the result of the opp attack running down the other side to him, as his tackle count was 10-15 below what he normally make. He actually made more RM's in the 40 and 39pt games than he did his opening 50pt game.

I looked at him but Morris will be back later in the year. Bulldogs site says 4 months but most players seem to come back earlier than first thought these days.

So either a trade later on or hope he goes well back at centre?

It's not the run metres and tackles that are my biggest worry as a Graham owner. It's the fact that in the attacking zone Maloney doesn't seem to want to give him the ball. Here you have almost the ideal ball playing backrower who can take it himself hard and fast, runs good lines as well as can make the right call on whether to take the tackle or get rid of the ball and you just seem to ignore him every single chance you get

Fair call. JTurbo is probably the most consistent of that lot. RTS or Teddy could be major PODs but could also just have a standard WFB game and get you 30's

Opted for Hastings to the Milf. Bout time he is in my team.
    Both still have low BE's.
Captaining an unthinkable option, time for risks.

Are most going the safe option this round ?

Going for the safe option in Captain Cam this week. Would have thrown it on Surgess if he was fully fit and playing but with him out I don't have anyone else really besides Smith who I can see cracking a 60 pointer with relative ease. DCE hasn't clicked yet, and will need to see some consistent big scores form RTS before I consider him

Last 2 reserves from Surgess, Kapow, Blaw and Claw? Need to trade in a prop or centre under $244k just so I can field 16 and then get Ash Taylor as an AE. And ideas?

Thinking Scott as he is cheap but need to do it early as I need to shift some oxygen thieves around who play tomorrow and Sunday, so a bit risky. Otherwise maybe PatMat but know nothing of Newcastle and his job security. Honeysett or anyone else in the know? Last resort maybe Auva but have 5 minutes to decide on that!
